Position Description:
The role of the Dispatcher is a complementary blend of customer service and sales logistics. Not only are you the welcoming voice making sure orders get delivered on time, but you are also the conduit by which our customers learn about the products, promotions, and services available to them. The right candidate is a well-spoken, detail-oriented, team-player who exudes professionalism in high-pressure situations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to all incoming customer communication including order taking, product inquiries, delivery updates, and dispute resolution.
- Provide the highest level of customer service throughout the ordering, delivery, and review process.
- Communicate order status updates as needed to notify customers of any changes to the expected delivery.
- Review the product menu on a daily basis to gain understanding and provide any corrective feedback.
- Offer in-depth brand and product information and targeted recommendations through productive questioning.
- Engage in customer outreach to ensure complete customer satisfaction and promote high retention rates.
- Process all incoming orders from the company website and third-party menus in accordance with company guidelines
- Effectively screen all new customers to ensure all company, local, and state compliance standards are met.
- Maintain and update all customer records and notes for shared use.
- Assist in the packaging and staging of delivery orders for drivers.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and auditing all merchandise.
- Efficiently route and monitor multiple delivery drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Respond to all incoming driver communication and provide necessary direction to maintain delivery timelines.
- Escort drivers to/from vehicles when loading/unloading.
- Assist store management with other duties and objectives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a minimum of 1 year in a customer service role in either retail or hospitality

The Retail Marketing Manager will be in charge of developing, communicating, and assessing Juva’s retail marketing strategy for all locations and across all channels. This will include all areas of retail marketing such as product sales, brand relations, creative design, website management, SEO, company merchandise, social media networking, e-mail/SMS targeting, storefront displays, and event planning. This role will look to provide a well-executed marketing plan aimed at both new customer acquisition as well as customer retention built around customer service rather than constant markdowns to build value. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Juva’s social media retail presence and explore ways to improve reach and reputation through ongoing collaboration with retail brand providers.
- Coordinating promotional branded inventory (SWAG) and developing effective usage strategies to enhance our brand experience.
- Creating digital banner ads to be used on both our ShopJuva website and third-party listings (eg – Weedmaps).
- Producing weekly marketing messages via SMS, email, and social media in line with current sales objectives, known regulatory roadblocks, and company brand guidelines.
- Developing automated communication flows to engage customers aimed at increasing retention rates.
- Compose bi-weekly blog posts highlighting industry trends and featured products to boost website SEO.
- Assessing local events for Juva to reach target markets. Includes coordinating an event team to ensure proper setup, staffing, and execution of the event.
- Working with the Merchandise Coordinator to ensure successful turnover of all merchandise in line with company guidelines.
- Develop an engaging loyalty program focused on customer referrals while also using our point-based system to promote products and services.
- Ensuring 5-star reputation on third-party websites, overseeing company responses to all customer inquiries and reviews.
- Track and measure marketing analytics and present findings to the executive team.
- Engage with team members at all levels to drive marketing initiatives and increase success rates.
- Produce in-store signage for our new retail location set to open in Redwood City.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process.
What you will do:
- Clone, clean/sanitize cubes/pots, fill pots and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepare them for the flowering stage.
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, space the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensure irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Weigh waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into blue waste barrels, and updates the waste tracking sheet.
- Harvest product; defoliated, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Periodically move/rotate barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to the dumping area.
- Clear spots and waste out of the greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driver: Work with dispatch to deliver products to local Bay Area customers in a timely & efficient manner.
- Dispatch: Work to get driver safely and efficiently to customer
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues that will arise upon delivery; help resolve customer concerns with urgency and professionalism.
- Act as a brand ambassador and answer questions from clients.
- Provide the highest level of service and safety at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections at the start of every shift; maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring they are empty and secure when returned; assist with vehicle maintenance.
- Relate all relevant feedback from customers to management in order to improve process and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain proper record keeping, such as chain-of-custody documents and payments received from customers.
- Maintain and reconcile a daily cash bank issued by Juva in accordance with cash handling policies; learn and trouble shoot other available payment processing systems used by the Company.
- Must be an adept driver and always abide by all traffic laws.

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process.*What you will do:
- Clone, clean/sanitize cubes/pots, fill pots and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepare them for the flowering stage.
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, space the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensure irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Weighs waste by specific bench and/or strain, dumps waste into blue waste barrels, and updates the waste tracking sheet.
- Harvests product; defoliated, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste stems to the dumping area.
- Clear spots and waste out of the greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

The Opportunity
Our facility in Stockton is preparing to commence cannabis retail delivery. In Q4, this facility will also be launching cultivation and distribution. We are looking for the Facilities General Manager who will ultimately be responsible for overseeing all of these activities. However, you will initially be hands on as the Delivery Manager while you start to implement the larger pieces involved in this role. This is a very hands on role and will involve recruiting, marketing and inventory management as well as general management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
- Determine staffing requirements; interview, hire and train new employees with HR assistance.
- Works with senior management team to implement budgets, operating plans, purchasing and cash handling procedures.
- Leads, directs, and manages day to day operations of the delivery facility.
- Provides direct management of other managers and associates in the delivery operation.
- Ensures timely ordering of all products to keep shelves fully stocked.
- Maintains exceptional customer and associate satisfaction and strives for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adequate training is provided to all existing and new employees.
- Strategically manage departments in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.
- Ensure functionality of all systems including surveillance and security alarm systems.
- Collaborates with VP of Marketing to increase revenues and attract new members.
- Identify local competitors, conduct ongoing local surveys and market analysis.
- Reviews performance of all managers and associates, authorizing both promotions and dismissals.
- Ensures capital assets and equipment (automobiles etc) are functioning and follow proper maintenance protocols.
- Follows and implements the laws, rules, and procedures from the Bureau of Cannabis Control, the City of Stockton, and Juva.
- Ensures strict compliance to guidelines set forth by California's track and trace reporting system
- Ensures a safe and inviting working environment.
- Manage weekly staffing levels and schedules.
- Fosters a positive relationship with area neighbors and the city of Stockton and engages in community involvement.
- Maintains a favorable relationship with Stockton PD and area politicians.
- Ensure that operations are consistent with Juva’s human resource, IT, corporate policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are up to local, State and Federal codes.
Experience
- 5-7 years’ experience managing teams of over 50
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
- Proven leadership and people management experience in a distribution or a process driven environment.
- Strong computer skills – particularly with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP and/or equivalent experience with inventory information management systems
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proven ability to lead and provide mentorship to teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated track record in team building and driving operational efficiencies
- Outstanding people skills, organizational skills and a passionate leadership style
- Start-up experience, a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with dispatch to deliver products to local Bay Area customers in a timely & efficient manner.
