JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting,
Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements for the Board of Directors
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end inventory control process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Prepare and submit tax returns
- Manage and execute Payroll operations
- Additional controller duties as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
- Minimum 7-10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Summary
Looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement strategic, integrated marketing and business development campaigns and activities that effectively support overall strategic plan and business goals. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will also implement activities and programs to nurture and grow client base and maintain its reputation as the go-to for the cannabis industry for vape hardware, packaging, branding and filling solutions.
Responsibilities
- Achieve both monthly and quarterly quotas
- Meet and exceed sales targets by making quality prospecting calls on a continual basis including cold call, emails and maintain customer information, appointments and opportunity information in company CRM.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Collaborate cross functionally to achieve interdepartmental goals
- Focus on continuous improvement by applying various techniques and principles and making recommendations to management
- Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts.
- Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
- Tracks all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the Executive Team.
- Develops strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
- Deploys successful marketing campaigns and owns their implementation from ideation to execution.
- Analyze current CRM and develop automation to further community outreach
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about company products and the industry
- Understand partner needs and customize existing marketing campaigns to meet these needs in collaboration with internal teams (e.g. product, marketing, customer success)
- Manage a calendar of marketing campaigns; work closely with members, partners, and internal marketing teams to refresh collateral and digital creative according to marketing goals
Education/Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Familiarity with vaping products / knowledge of the vape, cannabis industry is a plus but not required
- Copywriting and design skills to produce marketing materials for both print and online.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, dependable, have strong problem-solving skills and be able to manage multiple complex problems at once.
- Ability to present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives.
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
- Proficient computer software skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends.
- Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns.
- Excellent time management skills; fast, effective, and efficient.
- Well-versed in using SEO and social media strategies to attract customers.
- Resourceful, independent, with a high attention to detail.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads.
- Ability to help create a ‘team’ culture throughout the company.
- Ability to complete and pass a criminal background and credit check.
