Project Superintendent Job

We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable Superintendent to assist in the management of commercial construction projects.

This position requires creativity, initiative, teamwork, as well as superb communication skills, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 - 10 years of experience and an extensive understanding of construction means and methods. A clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites throughout New England is required. Experience with Procore is a plus.

Experienced Construction Project Superintendent

• A minimum of 3-10 years related experience as a superintendent in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor
• Extensive experience supervising and managing craftspeople and multiple subcontractors on multiple construction and repair projects
• OSHA 30 Safety Course Certification, Red Cross First Aid, and CPR Certification preferred
• Basic computer understanding including e-mails, MS Office, and internet
• Understanding of project management software, Procore
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to mentor Assistant Superintendents
• A strong work ethic with respect for clients, staff, and subcontractors is required as well
• Must oversee all aspects of the job site construction, including overseeing all subcontractors and interfacing with clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering a plus but not required
• Design-build experience in all phases of commercial construction is a plus.

• Projects and offices are located in New England but a willingness to travel is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
