What we’re looking for:
As the proud parents of multiple award-winning publications, we are looking to expand our sales team with passionate and motivated people. We equip our sales team with mentorship, training, resources, and support. We are looking for qualified interns and experienced sales reps to join our team selling both print and digital ads, as well as sponsorships for our family of publications. IPW will provide comprehensive training, sales tools, leads, and training on CRM. We are as committed to your success as you are; our goal is to have you up and running within a week! We offer generous bonuses and commissions paid bi-weekly. Full-time salary and advancement opportunities are available after 90 days.
These openings are 100% remote. Applicants are expected to provide their own computer, phone, strong WIFI, and a commitment to a career in media and advertising. Please respond with your resume and a brief cover letter describing what you can bring to the team.
What you’ll do:
· Initiate sales daily through a variety of channels including calls, texts, emails, social media and networking groups
· Organize client leads and activities in a professional manner.
· Search for great leads and advertising campaigns that fit in with our audience
· Maintain client information in a CRM
· Identify decision makers and connect with them
· Convert prospects to clients and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.

We are looking for individuals who are:
· Self-motivated and possess a passion for sales with enthusiasm.
· Skilled in asking questions, tactfully responding, and overcoming objections.
· Eager to learn about IPW, our publications, and your role in promoting the IPW culture.
· Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
· Able to effectively communicate with both clients and IPW team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 2+ years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity. Preferably advertising or media sales
· University or college degree in related marketing or business development, sales
· Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
· Willing to work hard and be coachable
· Passionate about STEM, Sustainability, business innovations, residential tech and cannabis tech

Also selling event sponsorships and online offerings.
Responsibilities and Duties
After successfully completing product and technique training you will be expected to
-Maintain customer contacts in our CRM
-Lead research
-Make outgoing phone calls and emails every day
-Use social media/ LinkedIn to prospect
-Make quality presentations to decision-makers with strong angles and ask for an order
-Sell a minimum of $20k a month
-Must have a home office, computer, and good WiFi and a burning desire to be the best
Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills:
- Schedule management between hosts and guests
- Prospect for top quality podcast guests/celebrity outreach
- Proficient in audio/ video production/recording/engineering
