- Performs premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies
You Should Have::
- Ability to work within AMS and maintain data completeness standards
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to build underwriter and client relationships
- Ability to delegate to appropriate parties when necessary
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Holds or is pursuing general insurance designation (preferred)
- Some travel required (up to 20% depending on book of business & industry)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

- Provides support to the Account Manager & Account Executive on large and complex client
accounts by preparing coverage comparisons, submissions, premium & rate comparisons,
processes audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies and other special requests.
- Interact with clients (written or verbal) regarding special program needs and new assignments
- Understand and deliver on unique client expectations within book of business
- Temporarily back up AM as needed. Clients should not feel a gap in service knowledge.
- Ability to problem-solve and suggest proactive solutions to AM and AE
- Responsible for loss analysis and loss specific tasks related to invoicing, trending, tracking and
reconciliation.
- Responsible for assigned special client needs i.e. allocation spreadsheets (monthly, quarterly,
annually or as requested) whether specific line of coverage or all lines of coverage based on
entities, locations or ownership of property.
- Utilizes the AMS to keep detailed information on accounts (uploading policies, inputting large
schedules, driver lists, etc.)
- Controls industry specific reporting (well reporting, builder's risk, etc.)
- Reviews certificate of insurance requests & provides direction to COE related to invoicing
allocations, surplus lines, policy processing, master COIs, and client specific instructions for
customized Auto ID cards, billings, etc.
- Other general tasks include endorsement processing & billing, reviewing notice of cancellations,
analysis of loss data within Experience Mods, deductible analysis and participation in internal
review meetings and other meetings as requested.
- Ability to work independently, lead project special assignments
- Supports as needed in special client projects
- 3+ yrs. applicable experience required with specialty experience preferred
- Attention to detail & ability to work within AMS and maintain data completeness standards
- Achieved general insurance designation. Pursuing other insurance designation - preferred
- Project / time management skills to manage multiple priorities and to keep processes moving
from start to finish
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Limited travel required (less than 10%)

Actively participates in commercial lines service team consisting of Sales, Account Executives, and Account Managers in coordinating and providing IMA services to our clients across a diverse range of industries.
- Working knowledge of commercial Property & Casualty insurance accounts. Experience with Cannabis & Wholesale placements is a plus.
- In conjunction with the rest of the IMA service team, responsible for all account servicing needs through direct communication with the client, including but not limited to, binders, certificates, auto ID cards, filings, endorsements, policy checking etc. Accountable for maintaining account files and relevant documents within the IMA document management systems Background utilizing the Applied Epic software is a plus.

Coordinates and is an active participant in the entire renewal process including identifying and compiling exposures and renewal information from the client, delivery of submissions and quote negotiations with carriers, and participation in client strategy and proposal meetings.
- Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
- Responsible for preparing the proposal of final coverages for the client including coverage and pricing comparisons for all relevant options Reviews all bound policy documents to identify any discrepancies between quoted options and final bound items.
- Actively support the team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete any specialized projects and services needed for the account.
- Comply with IMA workflow standards in order to adhere to IMA’s best practices
- Ongoing insurance education classes and designations. CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designations are preferred.
You Should Have::
- Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program.

Prefer college graduate.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to interpret insurance documents.
- Familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions.
- Property and casualty license required for state of business. Must fulfill continuing education requirements to retain license.
- Strong computer proficiency and multitasking necessary.
- Willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises.
