Hours of operations - 10am-8pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

*Acknowledge customers in a friendly and helpful manner within 30 seconds of their entry into the area *Handle all returns courteously and professionally *Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preference related factors *Demonstrate knowledge of what our store carries and be familiar with medicinal cannabis products, weights, measurements, edibles, basic strain knowledge and THC vs CBD *Suggest additional products to compliment customer selection *Reinforce customer’s selection and package merchandise with care *Invite customers to come back and thank them by name whenever possible *Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm *Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to point of sale procedures *Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the customer *Be aware of current promotional events and sales *Maintain good housekeeping standards *Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures *Perform other duties as needed *Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality *Registers- Be capable to run a computer based register system that requires you to have proper cash handling and the ability to operate a cash drawer in a fast paced environment with attention to detail

*Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. *Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. *Follow the chain of command set in place when question or issues evolve *Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Mathematical Skills

*Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. *Able to use a calculator. *Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios. *Must be able to make change using American monetary units.

Reasoning Ability

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands

*This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing. *Must be able to stand for at least 5-8 hours. *Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. *May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.

Other Skills

*Computer/ ipads (MAC and PC) skills. Competence with: Word, Excel, email, Google, etc. *Must be able to function as part of a team. *Possess a strong sense of urgency. *Must enjoy meeting and interacting with customers. *Possess a thirst for learning.

Work Hours

• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

JOB & CAREER DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Budtender, you will be responsible for budtending for a marijuana dispensary.

The role of the Budtender (also referred to as: Dispensary Technician, Cannabis Consultant, or Sales Associate) is to ensure that our clients and patients are cared for in a way that is consistent with our brand standards.

In their role, they will demonstrate a level of knowledge that will provide important information to each patient regarding our strains and products.

The Budtender should be well versed on the topic of cannabis in regards to health and wellness.

Subject matter expertise should include: strains, cultivation, medical attributes of different strains and products both personally and anecdotally, general industry knowledge and the science of medicinal marijuana.

The Budtender job requires constant critical thinking and problem solving.

Budtenders need to fully listen to what a patient is relaying, and then draw on their knowledge of our product base, science of medicinal marijuana, and general industry knowledge to best advise them.

Being able to connect and build relationships with clients and patients is a must.

A personal relationship with marijuana is also invaluable when assisting and educating clients and patients.

JOB & CAREER EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

*Budtender experience ( 1 year required) *Customer service. *Properly follow cash handling procedures. *Accurately maintain product inventory counts. *Follow standard security protocols. *Adapt to new technology and procedure changes. *Maintain an understanding of and follow HIPPA regulations. *Maintain an understanding of and follow State program regulations. *Prior experience in medical cannabis industry is preferred but not required. *Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age. *Resident with a current valid State-issued ID or Drivers License. *Provide necessary documentation for employment in the United States.

Humanity Wellness in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for one experienced budtender to join our strong team. We are located on 3791 Cleveland Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

We are a professional cannabis dispensary that is currently looking for passionate, sales-driven individuals to join our wonderful team of bud tenders. We pride ourselves in customer service and making sure all patients/ customers leave with a smile.

We are looking for individuals with a strong customer service background and a passion for helping others.

Budtending experience is required.

We need staff members who are ready to work immediately. It is important for all of our staff members to be supportive of each other and display positive energy at all times.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE EXPIRENCE.

• Valid CA identification

• Must have a passion for Cannabis

• Must have a passion for Customer Service

• Must be detail oriented and able to follow specific protocol

• Must be consistent and punctual

• Must be a friendly individual with an out-going personality

• Must be willing to learn about cannabis medicine in order to work with patients regarding their medical needs.
