Full Job Description

Hughey Phillips, LLP is an acclaimed, Sacramento-based boutique firm with international clientele and practice. We focus primarily on commercial litigation, intellectual property, entertainment, white-collar criminal defense, real property and construction, cannabis, employment, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions.

We seek two full-time attorneys with three-to-five years experience, one to join our litigation teams and another for our transactional practice. Successful candidates must be sharp, highly capable, self-motivated and able to perform at a very high level with minimal supervision. We require significant law and motion practice in state and federal courts, excellent writing and oral argument skills, ability to perform very well under pressure, experience in one or more of our practice areas, dazzling people skills, and healthy sense of humor. We prefer BigLaw experience, ideally minimum two years, and candidates who are available to begin right away.
