Extraction and Secondary Processing Technician

Seeking an experienced technician to work in our cannabis/hemp extraction and processing lab. Hightech Labs, LLC is an extraction lab in Southern Maine that processes cannabis/hemp for licensed dispensaries, patients and caregivers using the most powerful and most advanced Co2 extraction equipment. The potential candidate will be responsible for creating concentrate products through advanced laboratory methods. The safety and efficiency of these processes is of the highest importance, as is the quality of our end products.

Job duties:

Prep biomass material, solvents, and equipment for extraction

Operate the extraction system and secondary processing equipment, while complying with safety guidelines

Execution of all operations in accordance with all written SOP's and in accordance with all state and local regulations

Carefully handle, weigh and label any substances used in the process

Import and record data into tracking systems

Monitor laboratory systems while they are operating, keeping a careful eye on any possible hazards or sources of error/inefficiencies

Package concentrate products

Maintain accountability and inventory of all raw materials and finished products

Clean and organize the lab

Ability to resolve any conflict respectfully and in a timely manner, addressing and resolving problems in order to create a culture of engagement and high-performance.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be a Maine resident

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Experience in cannabis/hemp extraction processing

High School Diploma or equivalent , Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent life experience

Ability to operate distillation equipment, and vacuum ovens

Microsoft Office experience; especially Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
