Specific Responsibilities
Retail Growth
- Deliver annual topline and bottom-line financial goals for a flagship store in San Bernardino, CA
- Responsible for developing and managing opening and operating plans for this location to deliver financial targets and operational performance
- Develop and implement operational and in-store strategies and tactics to deliver the annual operating plan
- Monitor financial results, assess factors impacting performance and take appropriate actions to achieve annual operating plan
- Responsible for delivering an in-store experience to drive traffic, comp sales and customer loyalty
- Understand competitive landscape and trends. Develop innovative retail approaches that provide a premium customer experience and meet our financial and operational goals to be competitive in a dynamic environment
Store Operations
- Ensure location is operating efficiently to maximize financial performance and to deliver a superior customer experience consistent with brand standards
- Identify and implement best practices for customer experience, sales, store appearance, staffing, inventory management and financial controls
- Responsible for deployment of initiatives to continuously manage waste
- Responsible for development and deployment of labor model to maximize customer experience while managing costs
- Leads operations training to include training strategies, content development and deployment and training systems
- Ensures system compliance with company policies and with federal, state, and local regulations that impact daily retail business operations
People Leadership
- Articulate, model and stand of an unwavering, values-based leadership point of view

About You
- This executive will have a minimum of 15 years of operations leadership experience in the retail industry with a strong operating company; flagship or multi-unit experience preferred
- Significant experience in a fast-paced environment, proven success in scaling processes, systems and people to meet company growth objectives
- Experience in creating a unique customer value proposition, attracting, engaging and retaining customers through in store experience
- Depth of experience in operations in a highly customer centric and competitive environment
- Demonstrated successful track record of inspirational leadership of teams and directing the execution of foodservice operations to meet the financial objectives of the business while enhancing the overall customer experience
- Demonstrated capability in evaluating processes and improving operational efficiencies, resulting in higher quality service delivery while achieving speed of service goals.
- Experience planning sales, margin, inventory management and driving bottom line profit for a flagship store or multi-unit retail chain
- Successful in negotiating and/or influencing across all levels and building cross functional partnerships in order to gain cooperation and successfully implement projects.

Delivery Driver:
**Position currently available: Rotating Schedule - Looking for someone available 12-8pm Mon and Weds, with every other week working Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed. **
The product is delivered on time and product payment remains secure at all times.
Logistics
- Ensure delivery of product are always secured by following all security protocols
- Conduct inspections of vehicle prior to departing to deliver product
- Load product into car according to specifications
- Deliver product to customers on assigned route
- Unload and deliver goods per client specifications
- Collect payments
- Check manifest and invoice to ensure products delivered match manifest
- Follow route manifest for each delivery
- Operate vehicle safe and secure manner
- Maintain positive, productive and transparent relationships with all monitoring partners (dispatch/customer service) and outside vendors
- Represent company in a professional manner
Equipment
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately
- Maintain adequate fuel levels each day

Specific Responsibilities
Retail Growth
· Must have the drive to interact closely with customers, listening to and educating customers about cannabis. Necessary willingness to discuss general health topics with individuals, while respecting their opinions and choices.

· Instruct customers on dosages and ratios, the potential and expected affects as well as possible side-effects, and generally explain the information on product packaging and supplementary information.
· Share and communicate necessary information and changes with fellow employees and management to ensure an open and graceful workspace. Understanding and following strict local, state, and federal guidelines to ensure complete implementation through our work practices.
Store Operations
· Consistently delivers the ultimate patient/customer experience in all facets from patient or customer entry to exit; ensure each customer receives full attention during their transaction
· Ensure all guests are greeted as they arrive and when they depart
· Maintain proper cash handling procedures at all times
· Ensure POS counters are ready to go when dispensary opens
· Assist with running side work, stocking and cleaning during all downtime
· Maintain fully stocked and clean POS counters at all times
· Ensure opening and closing cleaning and organization is completed
· Participate in periodic staff cleanings and meetings
· Adhere to company SOPs
· Inform management if any product inventory is running low

Summary
Inventory Control employees are considered product and compliance experts on the products sold at High Times retail markets. The primary job requirement for this position is the compliant intake and processing of product as it relates to the METRC platform and its integrations with Blaze. The Inventory Control employee is also responsible for accurate labeling, product photos for online menus and product quality control.
- Assist inventory manager with day-to-day tasks such as but not limited to inventory intake
and product tagging.
- Assist in the receipt of inventory.
- Assist in product quality control and following proper waste procedures.
- Works closely with Guide team and management to ensure accuracy of online inventory.
- Organizing and keeping track of inventory (Cannabis Goods and Non-cannabis goods).
- Logging inventory into the inventory management system.
- Processing product: make signage, take photos of products.
- Protecting the brand and appearance of the product.
- Maintaining environmental storage requirements for various products.
- Theft prevention from precise record keeping.
- In collaboration with the front of house, stocking and backfilling products on the sales floor.
- Monitor/Document Cannabis Waste for accounting purposes and disposal.
- Keep back stock labeled and organized of all shipping manifests and COA's, displayed with coinciding inventory.
- Assist in monthly inventory audits.
- Ensures METRC information is updated and accurate at all times.
- Records errors found in software and reports errors to BOH Retail Manager to ensure the resolution
- Ensures all items recorded as damaged are properly removed from the POS software,
including both items that become defective onsite and items that are returned by
customers.
- Works closely with store management to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Assist with running side work, stocking, and cleaning during all downtime
- Ensures that assigned opening and closing cleaning and organization is completed.
- Participate in meetings and events scheduled during shifts.

Summary
The Restaurant Manager, Retail Lounge is the most global position in the lounge. They must be able to oversee all aspects of the restaurant / lounge, including all personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes and results for the lounge.
The Restaurant / Retail Lounge Manager develops, directs, and motivates the lounge team which results in great service to all customers, generation of sales/profit, minimizing losses and ensuring the lounge is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained. In addition, the Restaurant / Retail Lounge manager maximizes employee productivity, ensuring consistent compliance with the execution of all company Policy & Procedures and maintains an environment that is results-driven. The Restaurant / Retail Lounge manager will directly partner with the restaurant management group contracted to operate the lounge kitchen and restaurant.

Daily Expectations of your position
- Build Daily Break Sheet (Included Management and Security Breaks)
- Cover Reception for meal breaks.
- Consulting
- Provide new client tours and consult customers.
- Make change for registers.
- Cancel/Void orders; Subtract voids from the drawer.
- Make hourly drops, radio consultants 15 mins. prior to requesting drop.
- Stock and maintain a clean work area.
- Wear mobile panic button around neck on the premises.
- Leave panic button with another member of security during meal breaks. Oversee premises both inside and outside of the store.
- Walk the premises often (every 1-2 hours). Check parking lot, dumpster, street side, garage, and all other sides of buildings.

The Back Of House Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for all intake and processing of product as it relates to the METRC platform and it’s integrations with Blaze. The BOH Assistant Retail Manager will also be responsible for leading the Inventory staff.
Job Description
Inventory Management:
- Serve as the primary METRC Administrator, ensuring the account is current and compliant at all times.
- Ensure deliveries are received on time and purchase orders match invoices.
- Oversee vendor payment tracking system.
- Troubleshooting inventory issues that may come up in the course of operating the platform.
- Ordering METRC UID Tags and ensuring your entity does not run short or available tags.
- Assigning new UID’s to product packages.
- Dealing with returns, product quarantines, and write offs.
- In partnership with the Front of House Manager ensure all promotional products are appropriately
marked in the POS system and ready to be set on the sales floor.
- Liaison with the corporate centralized buying team.
- Point of contact with regional vendor representatives nurturing and ensuring positive relationships and any shop specific concerns are addressed.
- In partnership with Retail Manager, ensuring staff samples are accounted for and dispersed in accordance with company policy.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective inventory management best practices and procedures.
- Ensures all items recorded as damaged are properly removed from the POS software, including both items that become defective onsite and items that are returned by clients.
Compliance:
- Ensure that all products are stored and handled in secure, sanitary, compliant conditions that will mitigate exposure to pests and various contaminants.
- Track, dispose of, and report all waste in a compliant manner.
- Oversee and manage regular inventory audits, reconciliation of inventory records as needed and in compliance with the state of California.

Summary
The FOH Retail Manager is responsible for leading a team of front-line employees and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail market. The FOH Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the opening /closing of the store, and ensuring the safety of employees, and retail customers. FOH Retail Manager will work in collaboration with the BOH Manager to ensure minimal loss of product and that the facility and employees are in compliance with Cannabis regulations. The FOH Retail Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is given in the store, anticipates potential customer issues, and applies contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction. The FOH Retail Managers also required to maintain strict inventory and cash controls with each point of sale to prevent financial losses and ensure complete compliance with State and Local requirements
Customer Service:
- Supervise and lead the Guide team and FOH Assistant Manager to deliver the highest level of customer experience by creating a positive work environment that consists of mutual respect, transparency and open communication.
- Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and add value to shopping experience (promote loyalty program, contextualizing products through knowledge, usage, and dosage).
- Own and lead:
- Implementation of Marketing and Promotional activities directed from the corporate team.
- Visual Merchandising execution, including correct pricing and signage displayed with products.
- In partnership with the Retail manager, serve as a liaison to the local community.
- Visit competitor dispensaries to build knowledge of their customer service, loyalty program, product assortment and pricing structure.
Leadership:
- Supervise and direct the activities of the Guide team, including staff scheduling.
- When scheduled, will perform all Manager on Duty tasks.
- Coordinate break schedule and manage weekly and daily task list for the team.
- Lead team to hourly financial goals during MOD shift.
- Exercise significant authority and discretion when addressing items that concern the location, including:
- Completes annual reviews for staff and is a coaching voice to staff; counsels and follows disciplinary procedures when needed.
- Recommends hiring, performance, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees.

Drivers are responsible for securely and compliantly transporting cannabis goods and other products to clients at the time and place of the clients choosing. Drivers are required to maintain accurate logs of delivered goods and travel, this information may be audited by the Department of Cannabis Control.

Summary
Drivers are responsible for securely and compliantly transporting cannabis goods and other products to clients at the time and place of the clients choosing. Drivers are required to maintain accurate logs of delivered goods and travel, this information may be audited by the Department of Cannabis Control.

Summary:
The Back Of House Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for all intake and processing of product as it relates to the METRC platform and it’s integrations with Blaze. The BOH Assistant Retail Manager will also be responsible for leading the Inventory staff.
Job Description
Inventory Management:
- Serve as the primary METRC Administrator, ensuring the account is current and compliant at all times.
- Ensure deliveries are received on time and purchase orders match invoices.
- Oversee vendor payment tracking system.
- Troubleshooting inventory issues that may come up in the course of operating the platform.
- Ordering METRC UID Tags and ensuring your entity does not run short or available tags.
- Assigning new UID’s to product packages.
- Dealing with returns, product quarantines, and write offs.
- In partnership with the Front of House Manager ensure all promotional products are appropriately
marked in the POS system and ready to be set on the sales floor.
- Liaison with the corporate centralized buying team.
- Point of contact with regional vendor representatives nurturing and ensuring positive relationships and any shop specific concerns are addressed.
- In partnership with Retail Manager, ensuring staff samples are accounted for and dispersed in accordance with company policy.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective inventory management best practices and procedures.
- Ensures all items recorded as damaged are properly removed from the POS software, including both items that become defective onsite and items that are returned by clients.
Compliance:
- Ensure that all products are stored and handled in secure, sanitary, compliant conditions that will mitigate exposure to pests and various contaminants.
- Track, dispose of, and report all waste in a compliant manner.
- Oversee and manage regular inventory audits, reconciliation of inventory records as needed and in compliance with the state of California.
- Maintain extensive organized and compliant inventory records.
Leadership:
- Identify strategies to maximize available resources and enhance efficiency.
- Follow the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objective.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the BOH team, including working with FOH to schedule BOH staff.

Job Description
We are looking for a social-savvy and creative individual to join the social team for High Times. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to deepen their social skills with the number one Cannabis brand on social.
The ideal candidate will already have a background in social media management with proven growth experience, is outgoing and a social user themselves, and has a passion for the Cannabis community.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and execute branded and organic social posts upon approval
- Prepare weekly social reports for client campaigns reporting on paid and organic metrics
- Maintain detailed branded and editorial social calendars; work with teams to slot in new posts, communicate daily next day’s schedule
- Assist the social and marketing teams with on-site social duties at High Times events (duties may include assistance with on-site interviews, filming for Instagram stories, live tweeting etc.)
- Assist the social and video teams with creating a new YouTube presence for the High Times properties helping to identify key Cannabis vloggers and influencers for cross-collaboration
- Brainstorm community and influencer extensions for social campaigns; help organize Instagram takeovers to bring in fresh voices to expand reach and engagement
- Participate in daily social trend stand-ups to identify real-time engagement opportunities
- Stay up to date with current trends in social media including emerging channels and new social products

Job Description
High Times Media, the most iconic brand in marijuana, is seeking an Editor to manage the pipeline of topical news and feature stories on Hightimes.com. This position will work with our editorial team in Los Angeles. A successful candidate must be a news junkie with an eye on breaking news and trending topics, making sound news judgments on the fly, editing for style, punctuation, structure, and tone in a tight window, and crafting headlines that interest readers and retain them on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Use strong news judgment to make decisions on coverage, and to find and assign stories to writers
- Edit news copy for grammar, punctuation, style, structure, and tone
- Craft headlines that people will want to share, not just click on
- Write stories where needed
- Manage an editorial calendar and a freelance budget
- Aid in the planning of content scheduling and production development
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate promotion of stories across social media and High Times TV
Qualifications
- At least one years’ experience as a general assignment editor or home page editor at a professional news organization;
- Excellent news literacy across a variety of subjects affecting the cannabis industry, from politics to world affairs to entertainment
- An eye for what is and is not a High Times news story, and a keen sense of High Times’ style and tone
- A solid sense of humor to breathe life and fun into stories
- An enthusiasm for cannabinoids
- Connectivity to a collection of available and eager freelance writing talent
- Ability to multitask and keep a cool head, especially during big breaking news events
- Willingness and ability to cover anything and everything, from the prison industrial complex to the Taco Bell menu items

- Provide comprehensive support to the three executives to include strategic calendaring through Google Calendar; booking travel and accommodations; monthly expense reporting; plan offsite events, prepare documents for meetings, and work on strategic projects.
- Create, route, and process written and verbal correspondence with impeccable discretion and confidentiality across multiple platforms.
- Coordinate with external parties and their executive staff on frequent/regular meetings.
- General administrative duties (e.g., taking detailed notes, preparing meeting materials as needed) and a willingness to take on special projects with evolving priorities.
- Plan and execute team offsites, including sourcing venues, vendors, and activities.
- Assist team with tracking team budgets, invoices, submitting/approving expenses, and resolving any AP or AR issues.
