We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Drivers to lead our organization's business activities, develop and implement effective business strategies, programs and best practices. A caring, considerate and enthusiastic attitude for the industry is a must. Working knowledge of cannabis products as well as all current rules regulating marijuana are required.
Budtenders will be challenged by sales goals set by management. We are looking for candidates that will creatively contribute to the success and expansion of our company. This position gives a self-driven and motivated candidate room for development and growth.
Drivers are the face of our dispensary; they spend the most time with our customers. As a Budtender you are responsible for giving product recommendations to a wide variety of people with many different ailments. Our Patients will expect the Drivers to have extensive knowledge of the cannabis products we carry, as well as be personable and professional. Drivers must stay aware of all laws pertaining to our business to ensure they sell items correctly, and do not sell more than the daily limit. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining, packing, and ensuring orders have been delivered.
A preferred candidate will be familiar with all driving laws. With our high expectations comes high reward. Job Duties:
- Assist customers with medical cannabis related questions and provide recommendations for a wide range of needs.
- Must be willing to learn and stay up to date with the ever-changing laws of the cannabis industry.
- Must be hygienic, personable, patient and accountable.
- Knowledge and passion of cannabis and its uses is preferred. Candidates must be willing to learn and study the Store’s inventory, uses, types, and benefits.
- Must be able to pay attention to details and multi-task.
- Must be able to take direction and work as a team, but equally effective working on your own.
- During down time maintain displays, and store appearance.
- Must be willing to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Greeting all customers and vendors in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Answering all inquiries by the customers regarding products or other in stock inventory.
- Asking the patient pertinent questions to ensure the patient is purchasing the appropriate medicine for their needs and condition.
- Moving customers through the sales process in a timely, friendly manner.
- Ensuring that the vehicles are kept clean and free of all flower and debris. Maintaining an orderly, clean work area.
- Informing Manager of need to restock product as necessary.
- Assisting the Manager(s) in any way requested.
- Staying up to date on the products and menu of the Company.
- Learning pertinent information about how to sell all the products of the Company.
- Upselling customers when appropriate.
- Answering the phone and complete packing.
- Taking over the front desk when the Front Counter Person or Store Manager takes a break.
- Must be able to operate a cash register, and correctly count back change.
- Counting and balancing their cash drawer at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Assisting in counting product inventory for audits
Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Valid California license
- Experience
- Per state law, must be at least 21 years old and have no disqualifying felony convictions.
- Consistently responsible and timely in performing daily tasks
- Capable decision maker.
- Good with Math.
- Knowledge of product lines, sales processes and inventory are extremely useful
- Familiarity and comfortability with utilizing a paperless office structure and systems
- Familiarity/comfortable learning a Cannabis POS system/new software
- Desire to help those around you grow and succeed in a driven and positive manner
- Accountable and responsible for own role
- Store operations expertise including but not limited to day to day operations, merchandising, and visual display.
Preferred Experience:
- reporting system experience
- POS Tracking Systems / Cannabis Software Tracking experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills
- Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
- High level of integrity
Required license or certification:
- Valid California Driver's License
- Live Scan Criminal Background Check
Working Environment:
The work environment is fast paced and non-traditional. The Budtender regularly works evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our retail setting. Successful performance of this role requires that the incumbent is physically able to move freely between different parts of the store, lift up to 30 pounds, and spend several hours a day viewing a computer screen.

The Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the distribution and inventory of our products for our retail stores and vendors. They are also responsible for implementing processes, procedures, and systems in place to ensure accurate and timely retail product inventory, audit and controls. The distribution Manager will set audit schedules and perform audits including testing of internal process standards and controls. They will also provide leadership in the development and implementation of retail inventory process, procedure, and systems. The Distribution Manager will work closely with accounting, operations, and retail teams to maintain inventory process controls.
Job Skills, Abilities, Qualifications:
- Sets schedules for delivery of products to the stores
- Product management- communicate with stores for product inventory updates, vendor communication, store supplies, new inventory updates/requests, overall inventory management
- Manages the testing of product with 3rd party vendor (if applicable)
- Conducts inventory audits with District Inventory Specialist and Audit team weekly
- Analyzes sales trends and searches for opportunities for sales development. Works with marketing and creative partners to develop campaigns and new revenue avenues
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of Distribution/Inventory Management experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Cannabis manufacturing, productions, or retail is a must!
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working current knowledge of the California cannabis industry/laws
- Available to work 50+ hours a week
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational astuteness, managing processes, process improvement, reporting skills, developing standards
