Position Overview
This Laboratory Technician position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to increase their experience with a high potential of moving up the ladder in an exciting new organization. This position will help with all aspects of the lab as needed so he/she will be an extremely valuable member of our team.
Educations & Experience
· Associate degree in science (minimum)
· Cannabis testing experience (preferred)
· ISO-17025 experience (preferred)
· Laboratory experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
· Support analytical analysis and sample extraction techniques as per laboratory SOPs
· Support sample receiving
· Support microbiology department
· Assist to optimize workflow and processes
· Help maintain laboratory equipment and consumable inventory
· Support equipment maintenance
· Follow all written SOPs
· Follow all ISO accredited standards and support renewal efforts
· Follow all safety procedures
Skills & Competencies
· Self-motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic
· Highly ethical
· Agile individual with the ability to adapt to an evolving industry

· Experience with Agilent LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, HPLC-DAD, or ICP-MS instrumentation and software (preferred, but not necessary)
Responsibilities
· Support laboratory by performing analytical analysis and sample extraction techniques as per laboratory SOPs
· Assist Chemists with analytical methodologies
· Assist to optimize workflow and processes
· Help maintain laboratory equipment and consumable inventory
· Operate equipment such as GC-MS, HPLC-DAD, and LC-MS/MS
· Perform quality checks utilizing validated analytical methods
· Support equipment maintenance
· Follow all written SOPs
