Greater Nevada Credit Union is looking for a Commercial Services Manager with a passion for Helping More People Live Greater.
About The Position:
The Commercial Services Manager is primarily responsible for managing the commercial and cannabis deposit services program; including growing commercial and cannabis related memberships, expanding merchant remote deposit capture services, and developing and maintaining relationships with large, high value businesses. This position has supervisory authority over the Commercial Services Specialists. As a Greater Nevada People Leader, responsible for delivering the Greater Nevada experience to our People in alignment with our culture, C.A.R.E., Core Values, and “the Deal”.

What You'll Be Doing
- Working knowledge of GNCU commercial and cannabis related products and services including, but not limited to; checking and other deposit accounts, Remote Deposit Capture, Cash Management, and Merchant Card Processing.
- Process deposit maintenance requests as requested by authorized GNCU staff.
- Maintain deposit portfolio with minimal runoff.
- Collect and analyze financial and related data to establish creditworthiness.
- Monitor member’s account relationships through financial analysis and ongoing member contact to increase retention and satisfaction.
- Apply appropriate procedures and reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Conducts client/prospect development on a daily or weekly basis depending on client availability.
- Builds knowledge of all clients and prospects by completing in-depth profiling of Commercial business owners and other principals.
- Understands the needs of the members, recommends the appropriate product, service or solution.
- Works closely with all areas of the credit union and its CUSOs to understand all Commercial clients (and Business owner(s)) needs.
- Provides and exception level of customer service for the client by handling requests directly and/or by referring to the appropriate channel to best meet the customer’s needs.
- Proactively solicits new business relationships.
- Ability to understand and analyze financial statements, tax returns and other financial documents and to make relationship and product decisions.
- Thorough understanding of banking operations including all products and tools necessary for serving and maintaining commercial customer client relationships.
- Promotes a positive spirit by contributing to balancing team and individual responsibilities.
- Knowledge of payments and merchant processing.
- Strong credit analysis knowledge and skills.
- Proven experience prioritizing and handling multiple customer relationships at the same time.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- You must be willing and able to travel to locales other than the normal location for the position, including overnight trips as appropriate for your job responsibilities.

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
- You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
