As Team Assistant on a high performing team, you will provide administrative, operational and general support to the principal(s) and team members. You will be tasked with supporting operational systems, implementing administrative processes, and managing end-to-end business operations, impeccable follow through and exceptional communication skills, specifically verbal and written etiquette is a must.

In this role you will:
- Implement operational improvements, working with the team to execute best practices in structuring an efficient work flow
- Work closely and effectively with the principal(s) to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up as necessary
- Maintain and manage team drives, calendars, contacts, and outreach
- Manage external requests and retrieve messages on behalf of the team, providing effective communication to both parties as appropriate

What We're Looking For:
- 1 year+ administrative / marketing support experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google’s suite of products (docs, sheets, slides)
- Mailchimp (or similar tools) experience is a plus
- Strong technological aptitude

Full Job Description
Our client is seeking an indoor plan cultivator to work with us in our Wilmington, DE facility. Our client's Company is a proud minority-owned indoor hemp cultivation facility that is committed to social change and compassionate capitalism. They utilize proven technology-driver indoor farming practices to deliver consistent and high-quality hemp year-round.
This current position is a tempt-to-hire employment arrangement. A flexible schedule may be required as plants need care from early development stages. They are seeking passionate team members who have the desire to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
The indoor plant cultivator is responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures for indoor hemp cultivation. The cultivator will carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the production cycle. Daily communication with our Director of Agronomy as well as accurate record keeping and organization are key components to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Works with Director of Agronomy to plan for growing and post harvest activities that are consistent with planned production schedules and applicable for compliance and regulations specific for hemp
- Seed starting: planting and caring for seeded hemp plants; watering as required; maintaining ambient environmental controls including humidity, temperature, substrate moisture, lighting schedules, air movement and more as required for maximum plant health
- Crop inspection and scouting for insects or diseases
- Lead maintenance operations (including disposing waste and preventing contaminations)
- Diagnose and resolve plant health issues like mold, mildew or other infestations
- Ensure legal compliance of cultivation procedures
- Supervise and coach employees who tend to the plants (e.g. trimmers)
- Feeding and proper care of plants in various stages of development
- Operation of all equipment: pumps, fertigation systems, CO2 systems, dehumidification systems, and equipment specific to our vertical gardens and multi-tier growing systems
- Responsible for execution of all of our Client's policies and procedures including: security protocols, tracking and inventory, data entry, sanitation and best practices for clean cultivation areas, nutrient delivery systems, lighting systems and general horticulture programs.
- MIN 5 yr experience with plants or knowledge of horticulture
- Proven experience as a grower; some management experience required
- Knowledge of the entire cannabis growth cycle and requirements
- Familiarity with environment protection practices and the legal framework for hemp in the
US and Delaware.
- Understanding of pest and disease management techniques
- Willingness to continue learning about horticulture and cannabis farming, and stay on
top of current and future trends
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks or requirements as necessary for compliance working in
licensed hemp facility in the State of Delaware
- Ability to lift 50 LB and physical ability to work alone with repetitive standing, bending, lifting,
etc. Use of ladders and or lifts is necessary for our vertical gardens
- Ability to follow work schedule and timing requirements that fit our needs and more
importantly the plants needs
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Leadership and people management skills
- Degree in Botany, Biology, Agriculture, Horticulture or relevant field is a plus
- Ability to work on weekends or holidays as necessary
