Our 60,000 square foot Grow operation is looking for employees who are passionate about working in the Cannabis Industry. Job Description
Position Title: Cultivation Associate
Reports to: Cultivation Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt, hourly
Job Purpose: The Cultivation Associate is responsible for plant maintenance; including but not limited to, cloning, defoliation, topping, METRIC audits, watering, pesticide and pathogen applications in all areas of the Cultivation facility. The goal is to produce great quality and quantity of healthy cannabis plants, according to company defined measurements, schedule and operational projections.
Essential Functions:
1. Assist and maintain the health of plants in all stages of growth including curation vegetation and flowering in the Cultivation facility.
2. Ability to identify and treat any problems including, but not limited to: pest and/or pathogens; improper fertilization and/or watering; and environmental stresses.
3. Perform in the daily scheduled activities in given grow area.
4. Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules and policies as well as making sure to remain compliant with state and local regulations.
5. Understand all processes and practices as they relate to the proper care and health of all plants from the time of propagation through the transfer of plants to flowering rooms.
6. Understanding of all room equipment and supplies including but not limited to; HVAC, dehumidification, lighting equipment, DosaTron and irrigation systems.
7. Perform all required record keeping
8. Other duties as assigned related to running an efficient, safe and productive commercial Grow facility.
Job Qualifications:
Must possess a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division Badge.
Knowledge: Basic scientific understanding of botany, horticulture, and agriculture required; mastery and/or a degree in one, all, or a related field preferred. Intimate familiarity with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertinent to the cultivation of cannabis.
Skills: Computer literacy – able to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software/databases. Mastery of all cultivation techniques and tasks employed in veg at the Good Meds Network Cultivation Center.
Abilities: Strong written and oral communication; organization; problem solving; multi-tasking; attention to detail; team building and conflict resolution; foresight and anticipation of problems; proactive behavior.
Education and Formal Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Degree in botany, horticulture, agriculture, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a Grow facility or similar agricultural field preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
1. Lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling loads up to 75 lbs
2. Performing activities while on a ladder

4. Repetitive motions

Position Title: MIP Technician I
Reports to: MIP Manager
FLSA: Hourly – Non Exempt
Job Purpose: The main purpose of the MIP Technician is to execute extraction operations of the Good Meds Marijuana Infused Products Center to produce the highest-quality cannabis extract possible. Key responsibilities include operating the extraction machine during runs and supervising the extraction process, helping to prepare material to be run and assisting in finishing of product. During any and all processes, compliance must be met with MED and all other pertinent federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Comply with attendance and punctuality policies as described in Employee Handbook.
- Assist with production of all cannabis concentrates for BHO, PHO, Water Extractions (and CO2), aiding in any process from prep to finishing product.
- Operate extraction machine carefully and safely, ensuring proper execution of all company SOPs and safety protocol pertinent to the Good Meds Marijuana Infused Products Center and instructions of ExtractionTek User Manuals.
- Refinement of high quality concentrates for different product lines.
- Aim to maximize production by executing as many runs through machine daily. Aid in problem solving of any event that prevents continued use of extraction machine.
- Maintain efficiency of work flow when executing any process to prepare, extract, or finish material or report data.
- Communicate details of concentrate consistencies, run notes, etc. when necessary and report any deviations from standard protocol or quality standards to MIP Operations Manager.
- Assist with inventory as requested by MIP Manager.
- Execute and assist with waste collection, weighing and recording.
- Assist with packaging of concentrates when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, compliant, professional, and safe atmosphere in the extraction facility and the packaging center.
- Stay on top of company memos and daily electronic communication, responding and participating in conversation as necessary.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Maintain full compliance with all laws and regulations pertinent to cannabis cultivation and all attendant activities including, but not limited to, those of MED (Marijuana Enforcement Division), CDA (Colorado Department of Agriculture), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Job Qualifications:

Skills: Computer literacy – able to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software/databases; strong arithmetic and basic algebra. Ability to be execute data reporting in METRC and Biotrack, with training provided.
Abilities: Strong written and oral communication; organization; innovation; problem-solving; multi-tasking; attention to detail; team building and conflict resolution; foresight and anticipation of problems; proactive behavior; organization, analysis, and evaluation of data.
Education and Formal Training: GED or High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field from an accredited college or university preferred.
