Established in 2009, GS Holdings Co. dba Golden Meds Dispensaries has been a staple in the cannabis community and serves as a resource for recreational and medical cannabis patients alike.
We are currenting seeking a full-time benefitted Accounting Assistant who can:
Perform difficult and varied financial and clerical accounting work in support of the Finance and Accounting Department; process payments, reconcile, and verify general accounting information and set up and maintain a variety of fiscal records; perform general office support duties as assigned, including typing and record keeping. Additionally, duties require performing the following tasks, but are not limited to these specifically.
- Prepare, review and record month end journal entries. These include: allocating wholesale costs to the proper stores based on data collected throughout the month, allocating monthly usage costs of shop supplies, packaging and other logistics, as well as general month end entries to ensure that all charges from the bank have properly been accounted for.
- Ensure daily sales numbers have been reviewed for accuracy, input the sales from every location into accounting software. Ensure accounting software reflects the necessary information to function properly. At month end, reconcile figures to ensure figures in accounting software match exactly to the numbers that were recorded at the store.
- Receipt of daily mail, sorting and distribution, as necessary. As part of the process, I receive all the accounts payable for the various locations. The accounts payable is then sorted by due date and ensure payment is made accordingly.
- Process checks for wholesale purchases, as requested. Process checks for weekly order reports for each store and requests.
- Review all petty cash receipts and transactions when a refill is requested from the stores and entering information into accounting software.
- At month end, review bank account transactions and financial accounts to verify and reconcile them to account for all money spent each month. information into our accounting software to establish proper expenditures for that month.
- Part of the accounting assistant position is to administer all auxiliary support needs in the office as they arise. These tasks can include: contacting vendors, depositing checks, fulfilling change requests, petty cash refills, traveling to numerous stores, ordering office supplies, going to the post office, helping keep the office clean, delivering wholesale or weekly order checks, sorting and filing all the prior quarters records.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelors degree or 5 years of Accounting experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Accounting Software

Summary/Objective
This role reports to the Operations Manager. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the successful daily operation of the dispensary and developing a professional team that is passionate about the cannabis industry.
Expected to work closely with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) to groom potential leaders for promotion and develop a strong team of excellent management.

Summary/Objective
This role reports to the Purchasing Manager. The Distribution Clerk is responsible for the assistance, coordination, planning, and execution of daily activities of order fulfillment for Golden Meds retail locations and wholesale customers. This position is responsible for ensuring orders are received and fulfilled in a way that adheres to company’s FIFO policies.
Supervise all receiving and distribution aspects to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient preparation of orders, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards and regulations, inventory monitoring, and will also include advanced METRC and Flowhub.
Essential Functions:
- Verify product types/counts/weights match the manifest prior to receiving in METRC during intakes, and prior to releasing product during outbound transfers.
- Organize and verify accuracy of all orders fulfilled and associated documents (manifests, invoices, etc), and stage accordingly for drivers.
- Print (and adjust if applicable) all manifests, invoices and spreadsheets related to transfers or warehouse inventory for distribution or filing for records.
- Perform regular physical inventory audits of product in the warehouse and compare to METRC/spreadsheets to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and address problematic inventory issues in METRC and Flowhub.

The inventory specialist will need 2-3 years(cannabis industry ) experience and requires proficiency in the use of inventory software, detailed knowledge on the range of products in inventory, and attention to detail. This position also requires concise communication with the managers. Task will be counting all store products accurately & record on inventory spread sheet,Verify Metrc tags stay with product and match store barcode label according to Refill stock as needed on sales floor in accordance with stocking .Keep stock on the floor organized, alert sales manager on upcoming expiration dates, Make sure all product charts have a correct inventory count , keep inventory rooms cleaned/organized, make adjustments accordingly, all while maintaining the highest compliance standards with Metrc and state laws, Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages, Compares inventories to corporate records, such as sales orders, previous sales, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
