Penrose Cannabis is seeking Greenhouse Workers for the Penrose, CO location.
Greenhouse Worker Primary Responsibilities
- Fill trays and pots
- Transplant plants
- Take cuttings, plant maintenance, trellis and staking
- Spot and identify problems with watering systems, plant health, and nutrient/pest issues
- Assist in pesticide treatments
- Mix nutrients, repair irrigation lines, and watering systems
- Maintenance to greenhouse structures, roofs, curtain and mechanical systems
- Assist in pre harvest and harvest process
- Clean and sanitize and reset greenhouse space
- Up-pot clones and vegetative plants and move live plants
- Assist with the leafing, lollipopping, and harvest schedules with greenhouse and dry/cure teams
- Ensuring good plant maintenance all the way through the crop
- Group Accurately cut and weigh plants, as well as record range and harvest waste
- Load harvested plants to move from cultivation greenhouse to the dry/trim room
- Assure daily compliance with company policies and state/local regulations
- Ensure that all production areas and equipment are clean and tools put away at the end of the day
Greenhouse Worker Experience
- Prior experience working in a greenhouse is a plus but not required
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required
- Experience working with live plants is preferred
Greenhouse Worker Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of cannabis industry compliance is preferred
- General knowledge of greenhouse and agricultural safety practices
Greenhouse Worker Education, Licenses & Certifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have current Colorado MED badge
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Greenhouse Worker Additional Information
- Must be able to work as a team
- Must have reliable transportation with the ability to come on time each day
- Ability to perform tasks with great efficiency over the entire work day and without losing quality
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with care and caution when working with plants

Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities
- Research and seek out processing and wholesale relationships with potential clients.
- Develop targeted short term and long-term territory plan to maximize sales success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client services.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of finished product.
- Collect all required information and documentation from clients prior to the processing of raw material.
- Actively network and attend community and cannabis events.
- Generate new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Accomplish meaningful metrics and KPI’s to measure productivity.
- Stay up to date with new offerings and pricing/payment plans
- Demonstrate a passion for the industry and working knowledge of cannabis.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively.
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly projections for your territory.
Sales Representative Experience
- Prior outside sales experience is required.
- Prior cannabis wholesale sales experience is preferred.
- Sales background with a provable track record of closing deals and handling high call volume.
- Experience growing a territory is preferred.
- B2B sales experience preferred.
- Experience cold calling potential customers.
- Experience with MS Office programs such as Excel and data analysis required.
- Experience with sales performance metrics.
Sales Representative Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Strong communication skills.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
- Successful negotiations, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- A “hunter” mentality in sales is strongly preferred.
Sales Representative Education, Licenses & Certifications
· High school diploma or GED is required; 4 year college degree is preferred.
· Ability to obtain a MED badge is required.
Sales Representative Additional Information
- Light to moderate physical effort required including sitting, driving, standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting
- Must be able to lift/ carry up to 75 pounds.
