Job Summary
The Director of Cultivation is an experienced agricultural operation professional responsible for managing all operations of cultivation from seed/cut to harvest. Responsibilities include maintenance, optimization, and oversight of facilities, all staffing and cultivation site, compliance, and production of premium cannabis product.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all cultivation – including but not limited to, plant care, IPM, health and safety operations, and harvest.
- Develop effective integrated pest/disease control with STRICT adherence to all state compliance and environmental safety regulations. always Following Department of Pest Regulation (DPR) requirements. This includes obtaining a pesticide applicators license from the DPR.
- Establish system to collect, analyze, and maintain data on cultivation operations to aid strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with the CCO to create a complete compliance plan with periodic internal audits to ensure state and environmental safety regulations are met.
- Select, operate, install, maintain, and train staff on the operation of the cultivation facility’s tools watering systems, and other infrastructure.
- Develop a monthly inspection process to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Create an inventory management system and budget for all facility supplies.
- Manage, supervise, schedule, and direct the activities of the cultivation team responsible for all plants.
- Staffing, training, development & performance evaluations including but not limited to:
- Plant care
- Plant harvest
- Compliance
- Develop a comprehensive staffing plan then participate with the executive team/ human resources to hire, train, and supervise staff (includes scheduling, oversight, and training).
- Oversee the cultivation budget, meeting and/or exceeding minimum expectations.
- Follow all safety regulations, including any Special Covid-19 operating protocols.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a regulated cannabis market
- Strong leadership experience managing teams of 5+ members
- Experience managing operations with 5,000 sq/ft
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass all required background checks

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days will vary due to business needs. Some holidays will be required. Will be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations at any time. This may include scheduling issues, facility issues and/ or human resources requirements.

Job Summary
The Cultivation Technician provides daily care of medical marijuana plants from planting to harvest, and from harvest to drying and processing the plants for shipment to the processing facility. During the cultivation season, the Cultivation Technician will provide quality care and attention to the growing process of the plants from clone to harvest which includes pruning, trimming, watering and providing nutrients. The Cultivation Technician will assist with harvesting the plants and processing the plants through the hanging, curing and packaging of the plants. Detailed recordkeeping and strict adherence to the company’s operating procedures and compliance with the state regulations is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Daily care of medical marijuana plants, including watering, pruning and trimming, inspecting the plants.
- Fertilizing and providing nutrients to the plants according to cultivation protocols set forth by the Lead Grower.
- Careful monitoring of the plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation.
- Assist with de-leafing and harvesting the plants, including hanging, curing and drying the plants.
- Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery; dispose of waste according to strict compliance guidelines.
- Accurate tracking and recording of data during each phase of the cultivation process.
- Ensure the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the company standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

You will oversee, plan, organize, manage and control activities of the Security department in order to provide a safe and secure environment. As the Director of Security, you are responsible for providing leadership direction, continuity and coordination between the Fort Independence Paiute Tribe and County agencies, such as Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Response agencies, and other government and non-government agencies, tribal officers and officials related to security, safety, and emergency management.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee physical safety and security of the Tribe’s facilities, property and people including employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Patrol, survey and inspect Tribal property to guard against theft, fire, accidents, and vandalism.
- Build and manage a security team to provide 24-hour security coverage.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the employee relationship including selecting, on-boarding, coaching/developing, evaluating, training, salary administration, career development, off boarding and termination.
- Advise Tribal Administrator, Executive Management teams and elected leaders on security incidents/threats, and propose and recommend new technology, identify trends, and concerns, implement solutions and countermeasures.

- This position is primarily an observe and report position, alerting local law enforcement when necessary and do not carry firearms.

Job Summary
The most visible position at the Oak Creek Dispensary is that of the Customer Service Associate. The Associate is the heart of Oak Creek Dispensary’s customer service team and is responsible to assist customers in finding the right products in their wellness journey. From the novice to the cannabis connoisseur, a sales associate will help every client find exactly what they are looking for.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Guide and direct customers in their product and merchandise purchasing; suggest and provide information about other products and services.
- Provide customers with accurate information in response to questions and concerns.
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of your role.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning of the dispensary.
- Balance cash drawer in compliance with cash handling standards.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and changes to the Cannabis industry.
- Maintain company standards of safety, cleanliness and security.
- May be required to perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 0-2 years of customer service experience.
- Cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and safely lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule as needed, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and ask questions.
- Team player.
- Ability to arrive at work on time daily.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate information in one-on-one or small group to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
