Position Overview
We're looking for a part-time/contract Full-Stack Shopify Developer who will be a driving force behind our growth through an analytical eye and great attention to detail. You’ll work cross collaboratively with the e-commerce and creative teams to produce scalable solutions and manage our website foriawellness.com hosted on Shopify Plus. Reporting into the Senior Director of E-Commerce & Retention, the ideal candidate should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You will be brought on as a part-time developer maintaining the current site features and functionality with the opportunity to work alongside an agency to develop a brand new Shopify Plus website for the brand, evolving into a full-time in-house developer in 2023.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a competent online Shopify store for driving sales and revenue. Collaborate with the business team to understand their business needs and translate them into product features
- Manage the front-end website architecture through appealing visual design
- Design user interactions on web pages where needed, including animation & user flow
- Manage back-end website applications
- Work collaboratively with graphic designers for web design features
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Quality assurance of all work with a keen eye for user experience across all platforms and devices, with the lens of the businesses needs
- Create backend APIs, both modifying/enhancing existing APIs and creating new ones
- Assist with and rapidly test solutions for the team
- Cutdown complexity and improve readability while expanding functionality and future-proofing the codebase
- Examine existing code and recommend patches, design overhauls, or fixes for broken code
- Managing & customizing Shopify Apps both on the front end site as well as for back of house operations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role within a Shopify Plus store (mandatory)
- Full cognizance of how Shopify works, and have extensive knowledge of Payment Gateways, Inventory Management, Navigation, and Checkout Operations (mandatory)
- Complete know-how of Shopify’s Admin system (mandatory)
- Strong programming knowledge of Liquid is a must-have. You also need to know HTML5, CSS3 and React.
- Experience with Google Analytics is also desirable
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
- Effectively and efficiently work against timelines to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Ability to adopt the latest innovations in frameworks and design based on product and business needs
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality solutions on time
- The desire to grow with and contribute to the success of a high-growth brand, with potential of becoming Foria’s first in-house full-time developer
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design
- Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices

Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer able to hit the ground running with a growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter and proficient in the entire process of defining project requirements, visualizing and creating graphic files. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of product packaging, product kits, digital sales support assets, brochures and more.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work directly with the product manager and content creators to produce new product packaging and update existing product packaging per style guidelines.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.

- Ideate new form factors for shipping, samples, kits etc.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Associate to support our marketing efforts, drive business growth, and transform even more lives through the power of plants as medicine. Foria is seeking a senior e-commerce manager to lead strategy and daily e-comm operations, helping us transform even more lives through the power of plants as medicine. In this role, you will create the optimal online brand and customer experience, lead operational performance, achieve sales goals, and drive future growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage short and long-term ecommerce strategy to drive brand salience, grow market share, deliver on sales and margin targets
- Oversee third party resources/vendors for web development, digital projects, technical needs & improvements, ongoing website maintenance
