JOB SUMMARY
Advanced technical samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmentals. The role is responsible for the application of approved microbiological techniques and methodologies used in analytical testing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries
- Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload
- Maintain media and reagents as needed for daily microbiological testing
- Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements
- Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal
- Perform quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, running media controls, etc.
- Independently pursue an assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with FSNS policies/procedures and customer requirements
- Maintain laboratory condition, to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures
- Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner
- Share information in an open, and timely manner
- Assisting with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved with encouraged participation in the Food Safety Net Services Team
- Responsible for the safety of oneself and others working within their area
- Responsible for the completion of required training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience, preferred
- Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing laboratory
- Ability to travel is preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

JOB SUMMARY
Produce and organize supplies essential to conduct analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples. Prepare and sterilize media and reagents for the analytical testing of environmental, food and consumer product samples.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain bacteriological media and chemical solutions
- Safely operate an autoclave to sterilize media, reagents and supplies
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, storage, use, and disposal of media, reagents and solutions
- Properly operate laboratory equipment to dispense, pump and measure media and solutions
- Maintain an accurate inventory of prepared media
- Work closely with other departments to prepare required media
- Follow assigned series of processes, procedures or techniques in accordance with FSNS policies/procedures, customer requirements, and follow media operations manual
- Maintain laboratory condition, to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures
- Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner
- Share information in an open and timely manner
- Assisting with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved with encouraged participation in the Food Safety Net Services Team

SUPERVISION

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiar with aseptic sampling technique, autoclaves and sterile dispensing equipment
- Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory
- Training in general laboratory practices preferred
- One or more years of experience in a commercial food-testing laboratory preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of food samples to our laboratory testing facility. The courier will provide exceptional customer services to clients of the company while operating a company vehicle to deliver and pick up test samples at customer sites.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting with maintenance of a company facility according to established schedules
- Must follow the Company Driving Policy, as well as all applicable state and federal driving laws.
- Adhere to proper accident reporting procedures according to company policy
- Provide Excellent Customer Service Satisfaction at the point of pick-up
- Ensure safe and timely transport of the food products to our laboratory
- Responsible for operating the vehicle in a safe manner and to drive defensively to prevent injuries and property damage
- Work closely with the laboratory management and staff
- Drive vehicles with reasonable prudence to conserve fuel and sustain them at the highest operating efficiency
- Present the vehicle for repair, service, or adjustment whenever such is needed, and preventative maintenance when time is due
- Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner
- Assisting with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved with encouraged participation in the Food Safety Net Services Team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- 2 years of professional driving experience preferred
- Training in general laboratory practices
- Will have a current, valid driver’s license issued in the State of operation
- A driving record with no DUI’s or major moving violations or accidents within the past 60 months
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability and initiative in prior work experience
- Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory preferred

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the application of food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols accomplished through analytical and objective evaluation of facility policies, practices, and observations. Understand and implements FSNS C&A protocols.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform audit and certification audit services following objective assessment of functions and procedures for customers primarily in the meat, pork, poultry area as well as other food industry areas
- Conduct food safety, animal welfare, regulatory, process evaluation, certification audits, and customer specific audits for food plants and processing facilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills in HACCP. Must be able to complete HACCP training certification
- Demonstrate ability to become highly proficient with GFSI auditing requirements. Must be able to successfully complete BRC, SQF, FSSC and/or gluten-free Third Party Auditor Training. Other schemes upon request.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining certification and audit programs.
- Perform required communication with new and existing customers
- Represent FSNS C&A at trade shows and seminars
- Maintain a high degree of technical competence by reading scientific journals, attending professional workshops and being aware of food industry issues and trends
- Supervise or participate in development areas as assigned by the management team
- EXTENSIVE TRAVEL 90-100 % of the work week
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. Degree in Food Science, Food Safety or related field preferred, some college including successful completion of college level biological science courses preferred.
- 5+ years experience or equivalent in a decision making role involving food safety, quality, or regulatory systems at a food manufacturing site.
- HACCP Trained or PCQI preferred.
- Working knowledge of USDA-FSIS and/or FDA Food Manufacturing guidelines and regulations required.
- Must be willing to travel 90-100% of the work week
- Hold valid Driver’s License
- Must hold passport or have ability to obtain passport

We currently, we have an opening for a Data Analyst, to join our Data Integrity Team.
The Data Analyst II performs duties which include, but are not be limited to, the configuration of LIMS test codes and related LIMS objects, the validation of LIMS calculation blocks, the preparation of method validation reports, the preparation and maintenance of method summaries, and the maintenance of method validation statuses.
Primary responsibilities of the job:
- Member of a team that is responsible for life cycle management of all nicotine, Configuration and maintenance of LIMS test code and related database settings.
- Validation of calculation blocks employed by LIMS
- Preparation of method validation reports either to finalize those prepared by other functions (i.e. Scientist) or from mined data.
- Maintenance of method validation statuses.
- Creation and maintenance of method summaries (standardization of method synopses and validation summary tables) which are used to support Client enquiries and the TPMF filed with FDA.
- Management of the list of limits of detection and quantification values used in reporting (i.e. through mLIMS test code configuration).
- Retrieval and use of data and information from previous studies and projects as necessary.
- The employee shall implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform their duties in accordance to existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures and wear required Personal Protective equipment at all times
- Other duties as assigned.
