Job Summary:
The Inventory/METRC Technician is responsible for tracking inventory in the METRC Track & Trace database and the Canix system. This employee follows the regulations and operating procedures for data entry into the existing systems and does daily upkeep for these systems. This role will provide compliance support within manufacturing and distribution. It is important that this role can communicate information between the multiple departments and with the inventory operations team daily.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and master the METRC Track & Trace system required by the state.
- Integrate the METRC program into daily operations.
- Function as in-house METRC expert.
- Ensure all commercial cannabis activities are recorded accurately within the Canix program.
- Receive all incoming cannabis and cannabis products in to the MERRC system, as well as, Canix Inventory management system.
- Report all commercial cannabis activity in the Canix or METRC Track & Trace system that pertains to the packaging, labeling, and waste of cannabis and cannabis products.
- Use problem solving skills for inventory issues.
- Oversee the accurate live inventory of all cannabis materials within the METRC Track & Trace system.
- Perform routine cycle counts of inventory quantities and compare results with the state METRC Track & Trace system; investigate and correct any discrepancies.
- Assign product to other departments.
Other responsibilities:
Assist Manager with training of operational team members within various disciplines of the company to maintain an accurate and compliant track and trace process. At times, performing spot checks of product to ensure Track & Trace information. Work may include creation of spreadsheets and other types of organizational data reporting.
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with data-based tracking systems (METRC preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong inventory background
- Computer literate
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and maintain records with a superior degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work with a diverse team within various disciplines throughout the company.
- Ability to follow safety protocols when working on-site with various teams.

Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist will manage inventory through Canix and METRC and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet distribution demands. Additionally, adhering to California Cannabis compliance is this individual's focus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Conducts inventory inspections to monitor and ensure traceability of plant/product movement throughout the facility.
- Promptly communicates identified discrepancies to leads and managers and documents accordingly. Investigates and participates in correction activities as directed.
- Maintains strict adherence to established procedures.
- Performs routine cycle counts of inventory quantities and compare results with METRC.
- Participates in problem solving activities to drive process improvements.
- Develops and administers processes for inventory in each department.
- Creates a live inventory of flower in each department and maintains a month end inventory in each department.
- Organizes and maintains a flow of tracking tested flower, concentrates, and pre-rolls.
- Gathers and packages samples for quality control testing as well as prepares batches for state compliance testing.
- Tracks all inbound and outbound flower between each department.
- Quality checks each package and verifies the weight of each package.
- Implements and creates procedures to prevent errors.
- Works with METRC team to ensure all products are in proper locations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must remain compliant with any and all legal company regulations for working in the industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Minimum 1 year experience in the cannabis industry
- Great organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, must be proficient in Excel
- Must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy

Job Summary:
The Propagation Manager will oversee all propagation tasks in a large-scale indoor cannabis production facility. The Propagation Manager will lead by example with the cultivation team in all aspects including but not limited to propagation, destruction, sanitation and record keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and/or maintain propagation protocols and nutrient regiment.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance.
- Train the propagation team on SOPs and ensure they are followed.
- Review everything related to crop protection and plant nutrition with the VP, Cultivation.
- Supervise irrigation, fertilization and growing practices, monitor pH and EC on daily basis.
- Manage scheduling and organization to precisely project and meet all propagation needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Work with VP, Cultivation and propagation team to provide an accurate availability of clones as needed.
- Work with the Inventory/METRC team in tracking all plant inventory to ensure all practices are compliant.
- Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and housekeeping on all propagation areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least two years of propagation experience and knowledge of commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc.
- Must have knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day.
- Advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics is highly preferred.
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.

Job Summary:
The Controller is an operationally focused leader with responsibility and accountability over all direct and indirect financial activities. As the Controller, this individual will manage all Finance/Accounting functions ensuring that accurate and timely information is delivered. This includes overseeing the monthly accounting close, corporate taxes, financial compliance reporting, and create processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting and tax processes
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliant operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve reporting and company efficiency
- Anticipating and evaluating business needs to make sure that financial organization and systems appropriately support the company's growth
- Create and manage budgeting tools to analyze budget-to actual/variance reporting, financial planning and analysis, and cost savings analysis
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
- Analyze income statement (volumes, margins, variances, semi-variable costs, fixed costs, SG&A, etc.) and inventory transactions to identify issues, report on performance and drive continuous improvement
- Analyze manufacturing cost variances and ensure proper valuation of inventories
- Oversee chart of accounts as needed
- Experience with establishing standard costing
- Analyze potential mergers and acquisitions
- Manage the IT and Finance/Accounting departments teams by setting expectations and supporting professional development
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of four years relevant experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience from manufacturing, agriculture, or start-up environment preferred.
- Proven experience creating and managing financial reporting procedures required.
- CPA preferred
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP Systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus

Job Summary:
Represent Flora California and the products we offer to a variety of consumers. The Outside Sales Representative conducts sales in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. You are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing descriptions of any products when necessary. Your goal is to build the business by focusing on the client. This will be easy if you're the natural sales person we're looking to find.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals, but not because there's just a quota to reach.
- Review goals quarterly with the Sales Director.
- Actively pursue new accounts in the Southern, CA, and surrounding areas
- Follow up on all communications and requirements related to setting up and starting new accounts.
- Review, address and resolve any outstanding client Accounts Receivable issues.
- Visit all clients, in person, on a regular, rotating basis during normal business hours.
- You will travel within your managed territories visiting accounts while evaluating brand performance and collecting market share information
- Responsible for creating direct sales through contact with buyers
- Continually monitor account sales, inventory, opportunities, develop a promotional schedule
- Correspond closely with accounts through outgoing/incoming sales calls and emails
- Obtain, review and create monthly/seasonal pre-book sales orders for all categories
- Work closely with retailers to process A/O and fill-in orders growing sales within territory
- Prepare detailed sales info, brand position and performance updates at regularly scheduled meetings.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license are mandatory.

- Strong relationship building skills
- Above average organization skills
- Ability and passion to meet new people and promoting products in a competitive environment
- Experience with customer-facing, fact-based selling strategies (Outside Sales)

The primary role of this job is to trim as much product as possible with as little waste as necessary. Individuals must be able to trim at a fast pace without damaging product.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently trim and de-fan plants
- Accurately weigh and record all trim weights
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse while performing trimmings
- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable by-product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch
- Account for each by-product type processed off the flower
- Maintain quality product
- Recognize signs of insect infestation, pathogens and disease in marijuana plants
- Safe handling of equipment including cutting equipment/scissors

The individual in this role works closely with the cultivation/ team to develop and improve processes and supervise all pre-harvest activities. This individual will monitor overall plant health and development inside of veg/flower nurseries; ensuring maximum efficiency, quality and health. This position may require some moderate-to-heavy lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform standard nursery tasks such as watering, transplanting, spacing, topping and pruning
- Make evaluations and recommendations on when plants are ready for harvest
- Manage and scout for pests and disease
- Monitor standard cultivation tasks such as spacing, trellis, weaving and spreading plants
- Ensure proper watering and feeding schedules
- Preform basic repairs to equipment
- Applicant must have exceptional communication, organization and record keeping skills in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Individuals in this role must have an understanding of plant biology, be able to work flexible hours, and must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of applying for the position. Experience in a commercial horticultural or agricultural position as well as knowledge of cannabis strains and plant genetics (to be able to track and catalog plants from the clone stage to harvesting) are preferred. High school or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.

Job Summary:
As the Director of Concentrate Manufacturing you will coordinate material for extraction; perform regular maintenance including cleaning and repair of all equipment; coordinate testing for research and development as well as state compliance; maintain extraction laboratory equipment performance by upholding quality standards; develop operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures; ensure staff safety and compliance; certify instrument performance; arrange equipment replacement, service, and repair. You will also supervise a lab lead and lab technicians in their daily tasks and lead the extraction facility overall.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work with CSO to develop, implement, and hold the team accountable to relevant KPIs with a focus on continuous improvement by helping draft weekly production reports and attending company meetings.
- Work with CSO to perform key R&D experiments to drive innovation.
- Represent the company at conferences and expositions.
- Operate, maintain, and make adjustments to extraction laboratory equipment such as extraction apparatus, falling film evaporators, rotavaps, distillation apparatus, pumps, scales, glassware and other laboratory equipment following current good practices and standard operating procedures.
- Work with CSO to plan and manage production schedules that effectively leverage capacity, labor and materials to meet volume, cost and quality goals.
- Maintain accountability and inventory of all supplies, raw materials, finished products and equipment by keeping reports, logs and records.
- Supervise others and take full leadership of the laboratory.
- Lead the extraction team and perform all necessary functions to produce targeted materials.
- Ensure that safety measures are strictly adhered to.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years related experience in process management/development in a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement manufacturing, or related industry.
- Licensed cannabis manufacturing experience preferred, but not necessary.

Job Summary:
The role of the Pesticide Applicator will be to ensure pesticide and fungicide applications are completed timely. The hours for this position are from 4:00am to 12:30pm to allow the plants to be treated and dried before sunrise. The Certified Applicator may be called on to work in cultivation occasionally to do gardening labor when spraying is not necessary or required. This individual may be responsible for a small staff as we grow.
Responsibilities:
- Spraying entire cannabis campus with proper fungicides and pesticides Monday through Friday
- Once his/her staff is hired, this individual will be responsible for management responsibilities (hiring, performance evaluations, scheduling, etc)
- Must stay abreast of California pesticide/fungicide regulations
- Working with other cultivation managers/team members
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in an agriculture or related position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic
- Must be flexible with working schedule
This role requires an individual who is analytical and prefers to work in a professional work environment, is highly accountable and enjoys completing their work in a through manner. Individual will be successful in this role if they are disciplined, understand the importance of rules and regulations are through and have a level of accuracy in their work.

Job Summary:
The Harvester is responsible for taking down, trimming and bucking the plants as requested. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work space and for following all departmental and compliance protocols, to include green waste.
Responsibilities:
- Disconnects irrigation hose
- Keeps METRC tags
- Prepare plants for harvesting
- Takes down plants
- Cuts stems into select increments, removes pots, and discards soil
- Trims and bucks buds
- Runs and cleans Twister machine
- Keeps all areas clean and sanitized
- Follows compliance and green waste requirements
- Protects the quality of the product at all times
- Recognizes contamination – pests, seeds, dirt, mildew, etc – and handles them properly
- Stays focused and on-task
- Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. Must be able to detect product issues, such as spider mite, powdery mildew, and/or botrytis. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to stock or bring product down from storage or racks and maintain cultivation process. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.

Job Summary:
The Extract Packager will work to ensure that our product is successfully packaged while maintaining quality and achieving necessary efficiencies. This person will perform administrative duties when need be including data entry, data transmitting, email answering and analysis and document production. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative and passionate, able to beat deadlines and find answers when it appears there are none.
Responsibilities:
- Package product as directed and trained by supervisor
- Label packaging as directed by supervisor in accordance to state regulations
- Fulfill orders as directed by supervisor
- Maintain level of desired quality while packaging and labeling
- Maintain level of desired quantity of packaged material
- Maintain level of desired quantity of fulfilled orders
- Count inventory as directed by supervisor
- Help maintain inventory records or raw material, packaged product and fulfilled orders
- Move inventory from room to room as directed by supervisor
- Dispose of waste as directed by supervisor including tracking of waste
- Remain compliant with biosecurity measures in the building
- Learn and maintain continual awareness and understanding of complete set of specific rules determined by the law and by the commission
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desired.
- Computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills
