ABOUT THE POSITION
We currently need an enthusiastic plant technician to maintain our plants in tissue culture (ex. trim plants and transfer into fresh growing media). Following training, most of this work will be completed on site independently. This is a great opportunity to learn about the art and science of plant tissue culture and how modern plant nurseries produce clean plants. Previous experience in this area is a plus, but not required.
The expectation for this job includes but is not limited to:
Responsibilities
Perform basic lab duties during shift including:
- Assess, trim, and transfer plants from old media into fresh media
- Perform inventory on plants and equipment/chemicals as requested
- Clean lab space as needed
- Lift up to 25 lbs
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
- Detail-oriented, has great dexterity and does not mind performing repetitive tasks
- Enjoys a comfortable working environment (seated most of the time), working independently (only employee on site), and listening to podcasts/music.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age as the work site is within a licensed cannabis facility.
- Has a keen eye for detail, good dexterity, and is able to focus on a task for hours. We are looking for someone who has patience and finds satisfaction in the process of completing a job.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Endo team is looking for a strong leader to move our Cannabis Tissue Culture Lab forward. The role of the Lab Manager requires a high degree of common sense, critical thinking, people management and problem solving skills. The tissue culture and nursery departments are dynamic because we service clients who have ever changing needs.
Our expectation as a leader at our company is that managers have strong communication and delegation skills to manage team members from diverse backgrounds. This role will also be reporting to upper management, stakeholders and clients to best report what is happening in the department.
On a day-to-day basis, the lab manager will supervise lab techs, media techs and dishwashers to ensure they have the guidance and training to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. The manager will also maintain inventory of germplasm, record and report any issues with plant health to the nursery, upper management and sales teams.
The expectation for this job includes but is not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Tissue Culture Lab with primary oversight responsibilities including – initiation, production planning, media preparation, sterilization, and tracking plants
- Manage the entire tissue culture process and maintain accurate records. Results need to be presented to management and key stakeholders.
- Provide training and oversight to new technicians.
- Media preparation and training of media personnel – mixing necessary ingredients for media preparation.
- Ensure all employees are operating safely and following all company health and safety standards. Serve as safety coordinator and primary lab emergency contact.
- Do the weekly production schedule/planning.
- Ensure that the laboratory is kept in a clean and good operating condition, including working with outside vendors as needed.
- Track and organize preventative maintenance, calibration, and any troubleshooting of equipment.
- Coordinate removal of hazardous waste by external vendors.
- Manage plant hardening and cultivation operations to ensure healthy plant stock is shipped to customers.
- In collaboration with other team members, develop, update, and maintain accurate protocols for the tissue culture process.
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities.
- Communicate effectively both written and orally and demonstrate a sense of timeliness.
SKILLS + QUALIFICAIONS
Required
- Experience in employee management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, GSuite and/or project management software products.
- Has worked in a lab or sterile environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High degree of attention to detail, organization and being solutions oriented are highly critical.
- 5+ years commercial agriculture experience or 2+ years commercial agricultural experience with a master’s degree level agricultural related degree ideal.
- Physical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing and some bending, reaching, and stretching.
- Able to lift, carry, and balance up to 75 pounds (150 pounds with assistance).

Position: Part/Full Time
Endo Industries is seeking a multi-faceted plant tissue culture lab technician who is curious and motivated to advance a varietal development program for cannabis and hemp. Our company is comprised of long-time cannabis entrepreneurs with a wealth of knowledge and resources in the cannabis space. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a rapidly growing cannabis and hemp company and passionate team.
As a laboratory technician you will assist in maintaining our plant tissue culture lab. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing high-level micropropagation inductions, transfers and general maintenance.Responsibilities
- Propagate plants by strictly following established tissue culture plant production protocols
- Execute assigned research experiments to optimize processes
Working under aseptic/sterile conditions
- Prepare media and feeding regime for samples
- Sample maintenance
- Inventory management
- Quality Control duties
- Keep a clean working environment and monitoring lab supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned and assists other departments as required
Qualifications
- Experience in Horticulture, Microbiology, Plant Biology, Cell Biology or related field with 1-3 yrs. experience ideal

- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with both hands with manual dexterity
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, Slack
- Highly independent, proactive and self-motivated
