POSITION SUMMARY
*

The Curriculum Developer will manage the creation of instructional materials, develop the
course plan, and curriculum guide while providing recommendations for engagement and
effective instruction to the Educator. Curriculum Developer will be expected to coordinate with
the Content Expert and Educator to gather all information, course materials and relevant
instruction tools and organize them into an effective learning strategy. They are expected to
maintain the highest level of educational standards and provide any teaching training required
for other training and teaching professionals involved in the program.

LOCATION: Portland, Oregon
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
STATUS: Full Time
COMPENSATION: $25-$45 per/hour

CORE FUNCTIONS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
*
*
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Working in alignment with the Apprenticeship Program Plan, its Phases, and the Timeline provided by the Executive Director, the Program Administrator will directly manage and track the coordination and timely completion of all related instruction.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT: Develop and manage related instruction and material deliverables on project timeline and in cooperation with Content Expert and Educator.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
*
*
- Masters Degree in Education or Commensurate Work Experience.
- 10+ years Teaching or Work Training Experience.
- Demonstrated history of curriculum development.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and maintain strong systems to meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and execute short-term and long-term goals
- Strong writing skills, experience working with content experts and diverse materials to create curriculum.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Database management systems

WORK SCHEDULE
Team members are located across Oregon, though the primary office is in Hillsboro. Our work schedule is standard business hours with flexibility. Some evenings and weekends will be required, but not every day will be a long day. Occasional travel around the State of Oregon may be required.

The Outreach Coordinators will create the relationships between target communities, industry partners and employers, potential apprentices, labor unions and government organizations with the goal of increasing awareness and participation in the Apprenticeship Program.

LOCATION: Portland, Oregon
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
STATUS: Full Time, Temporary (3 Month Duration)
COMPENSATION: $40/Hour

CORE FUNCTIONS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
*

OUTREACH AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING : Working in alignment with the Apprenticeship Program Plan, its Phases, and the Timeline provided by the Executive Director, the Outreach Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of engagement activities designed to recruit potential program apprenticeship candidates from historically marginalized communities. This includes identifying industry and community partners, scheduling informational events, and maintaining a contact directory. *
*MARKETING: The outreach coordinator will identify and recommend paid outreach strategies in tandem with community organizing.
*
*
OVERSEE REPORTING SCHEDULE: On a monthly basis, report the results of ongoing outreach efforts to the Executive Director summarizing successes, challenges, and make recommendations for improvement.

MANAGE ROBUST INFORMATIONAL EVENT PLAN : Facilitate and plan outreach events, workshops, and identify opportunities to engage with underserved communities
*
*
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated history of successful community and/or business outreach initiatives
- Passion for developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry and community leaders across Oregon
- Experience with customer service or experience serving in a public-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to set up and maintain strong systems to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and execute short-term and long-term goals
- Strong writing skills, experience managing and growing a social media presence
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Database management systems
