We are looking for a detail oriented inventory controller to be responsible for the inventory operations of one of the leading legal cannabis companies in Southern California. The perfect candidate will be able to maintain the flow of inventory from initial delivery to the point of sale . Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail, inventory, cannabis, and POS transactions.
Responsibilities
- Accept incoming deliveries efficiently and according to DCC regulations
- Organize, count, and maintain high-volumes of inventory
- Ensure products meet or exceed compliance regulations
- Communicate with store managers and purchasing managers to ensure all intended deliveries are received
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through efficient and knowledgeable customer service practices.
- Ensure all technology platforms - METRC and POS - are updated with the most accurate product descriptions and on-hand counts
- Complete ongoing training to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Provide innovative feedback on ways to improve operations
- Clean and sanitize facility to ensure a safe customer experience
- Work cohesively with other team members to ensure daily operations are being completed efficiently
- Be a leading example of well behavior and high performance
Skills
- Proven successful experience as a inventory specialist
- Ability to use online systems, MS Excel, and standard Microsoft automation systems
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace work environment
- Customer service skills
- Strong team building skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

JOB SUMMARY
The Pre-Roll Specialist is responsible for the daily activities involving manipulating flower & oil, weighing, stuffing, rolling labeling, and packaging cannabis products in an efficient and timely fashion. This role will be directly involved in manufacturing our products from the very beginning to a final sale-ready unit that will directly affect the customer experience with our branded products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staging product and packaging supplies to meet the daily production schedules.
- Performing quality assurance protocols as designated by procedures.
- Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed specifications.
- Ensuring 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security throughout the entire packaging process.
- Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, SOP’s, and all applicable required procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring each product is properly labeled in compliance with the DCC Regulations.
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory.
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system.
- Operates and maintains packaging lines for pre-roll equipment, stations, and program.
- Oversees the safe and secure transport of cannabis and cannabis products between production environments and secured storage, in a sanitary manner.
- Efficiently fill the pre-roll cones.
- Accurately weigh pre-rolls and fill to standards.
- Track and record pre-roll count each day.
- Maintain and clean the pre-roll workspace.
- Maintain the quality of the pre-rolls.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing or sitting for long periods at a time.
- Working with hands.
- Packaging and labeling.
- Moving boxes up to 30lbs.
- May operate weigh equipment or sorters.
- Free of allergic reactions to cannabis products.
EDUCATION:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
