As a Product Development Manager at Emerald Sun, you will be project leader on all things Product Development. You will work closely with the Leadership Team to develop a product roadmap to build our brand portfolio. - Maintain inventory to prevent out-of-stock or out of date ingredients
- Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues on projects
- Collaborate with Executive team on product development
- Develop basic methods, theories and approaches used in the execution of sensory evaluation and consumer testing research
- Design and develop surveys/questionnaires, in order to gain specific insights on product efficacy, flavor and overall performance
- Manage execution of product testing research with adherence to cannabis regulations and compliance standards
- This may include moderating focus groups and orchestrating or coordinating In Home Use Tests (IHUT)
- Gather and analyze data to report to the Product Development Manager which includes, but is not limited to:
- Statistical analysis of data to help guide product development – primarily control testing across various attributes
- Finding correlations within tested variables using regressions and other statistical methodology
- Ability to report results in timely and easily understandable manner
- Create visual aids to increase understanding of the material being reported
- Manage internal sensory program including development of training materials for employee sensory training
- Ensure that there is documentation and production SOPs with measurable results and data points for evaluation
- Provide a weekly progress report, and stick to desired launch schedule

As the Marketing Media Specialist you will be an integral part of how Emerald Sun revolutionizes the Cannabis industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, President and Sales Director, this position is hands-on & will play a pivotal role in supporting Emerald Sun’s growth.This is a marketing position with emphasis in and responsibility for Social Media marketing, digital content marketing and graphic designing. You will be a strategic and tactical social media expert, supporting and collaborating with the Leadership Team and Sales Dept. As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for building independent social media strategies which will include small or large marketing campaigns, engage on a daily basis with the cannabis community in creative and transformative ways, while strengthening and expanding the Emerald Sun brand/sub brand and creating buzz throughout California and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute approved social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, and Tiktok
- Create, implement and track social media marketing campaigns against strategies and goals
- Write engaging, conversion-oriented social media copy to engage our audience
- Develop a marketing calendar, brainstorm, conceptualize and write content for the Emerald Sun brands and its sub-brands
- Recommend and manage paid social media ad placement throughout Ca
- Monitor trending social topics to inform content strategies and adapt target audiences
- Grow an active and engaged following/community on all managed social media platforms
- Responsible for supporting social reputation
- You will be responsible for providing guidance to our leadership Team by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands
- You will work closely with the sales team to coordinate social media efforts around product launches and store deliveries.
