Title: Store Director

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Director to oversee retail operations. The Store Director will be responsible for managing personnel, inventory purchasing and tracking, sales goals and bonus targets, and the general operations and compliance for their assigned store. You will communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to implement and maintain store goals, protocols, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements, as well as communicate broader company objectives and standards.

SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES:

WHATYOU WILL DO:
- Oversee and manage quality product inventory and conduct inventory audits in accordance with regulations
- Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulations
- Regularly communicate with and update corporate leadership on dispensary matters
- Regularly communicate with the marketing department to manage community engagement, store promotions and events, and customer communication across a wide range of platforms
- Oversee, communicate, and meet staffing needs for the responsible dispensary
- Manage the direct the activities of the dispensary team to include delegating tasks and workflow
- Oversee scheduling and staffing
- Inspire, Coach, and Counsel internal staff to provide the highest level of customer service
- Supervise financial records and cash handling procedures
- Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with all regulations and lead the team and facility through inspections without violation
- Work with cultivators to procure an adequate supply of high-quality medical cannabis
- Maintain accurate records for all Company and Commission requirements
- Ensure training of all dispensary staff in procedures and POS utilization

WHATMAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:

Position Objective:
We seek outgoing and passionate Budtenders who are looking for long-term employment. Our Budtenders will assist the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Our Budtenders are responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. Must be able and willing to close the store (open until midnight).

- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment

Job Title: Store Director

Position Summary
The Store Director is responsible for directing, managing and providing ongoing support to the Regional Manager for their assigned location, including sales goals and target revenue. The Store Director will lead, manage, provide ongoing coaching and act as a mentor for their management team. They will assist in participating in ongoing strategic planning for Emerald Fields, while maintaining compliance, adhering to company policies and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Exercise significant authority and discretion when addressing items that concern their retail location, including:
- Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance Emerald Fields mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Make recommendations to the Regional Manager regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees
- Lead the performance review process for their location’s employees, in conjunction with the Regional Manager
- Responsible for attending meetings and relaying all information and communication back to their location
- Drive implementation of company directives by motivating and supporting their team to meet company objectives
- Manage, supervise and direct the activities of team and functions for their retail location, including:
- Ensure the store is fully staffed at all times to meet business demands
- Guide, train and develop team members in the accomplishment of their duties and goals
- Encourage, reward and hold all staff accountable for performance
- Provide ongoing feedback to the team
- Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates responsibilities to the team to ensure a smooth flow of operations, while monitoring progress
- Demonstrate positive and effective role modeling to promote growth and development of a high performing team
- Manage and coordinate their location’s store operations, including: daily activities, maintenance, coordinate new hire training with trainer(s), schedules, personnel and quality assurance, and assure compliance with local, state inspection(s).

Job Title: Shift Lead
Reports to: Store Director & Assistant Manager

Position Summary
The Shift Lead will provide assistance to the Store Director and Assistant Manager by supporting the activities and operations of the store, enforce policies and procedures, and operational guidelines. The Shift Lead will assist in monitoring employee actions, assist handling customer service issues/concerns, complete attendant duties as necessary and act as the Manager-On-Duty in absence of the General Manager and Manager, including opening/closing their assigned location.
Essential Functions
- Assist in Supervision of Attendants:
- Foster teamwork, including motivating team members
- Provide continuous coaching and training when applicable
- Act as MOD on duty when the Store Director and Assistant Manager are not on site
- Monitor task(s) completion of Budtenders
- Communicate to Store Director and Assistant Manager of any concerns or issues regarding staff immediately
- Assist in carrying out management directives
- Lead by setting a positive example
- Assist in training directives, including upselling and new hires when necessary
- Responsible for managing breaks for the hourly team members
- Communicates to team members any changes directives as assigned by Store Director and Assistant Manager
- Focus on Customer Service:
- Be a strong host personality on the floor and provide attendants with strategies to improve their guest interactions
- Process returns in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain a strong product knowledge
- Administration:
- Verify cash counts at the beginning and end of each shift
- Provide accurate change to attendants when needed
- Verify drawer counts, follows all cash handling procedures
- Follows and accurately completes opening and closing checklists when opening or closing location
- Maintain approved merchandising standards and display presentations, match the ordering buttons on tablet.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Responsible for abiding by Emerald Fields Safety Program
- Understand and Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the cannabis industry
- Adhere to all company SOPs in regarding operational procedures
- Perform Budtending duties to assist when necessary, must maintain working knowledge
- Other duties as assigned.
