Elevate Capital Holdings is looking for a Controller who will manage all accounting operations for multiple entities. Experience as a Controller in the cannabis industry is preferred.
As our Controller, you will be responsible for production of financial reports, creation of annual budgets, tax reporting, oversee bookkeeping functions, work with internal and external accountants, set controls to mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual compiled financial statements
- Ensure accounts payable and accounts receivable are timely processed
- Ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are completed
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Coordinate with outside accounting firms
- Assist with payroll processing
- Create cash flow reports
- Create a budget to actual reports
- Ensure proper tax collection and remittance
Qualifications
- CPA certification strong preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 7+ years of accounting managerial experience required
- Exceptional knowledge of accounting and GAAP
- Cannabis industry experience preferred
Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 (negotiable DOE)

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who has experience with METRC, California's cannabis track-and-trace system. While the duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities, a major component will be handling METRC. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Handle METRC including, but not limited to, receiving and transferring, data entry, tagging, and inventory reconciliation
- Provide general support to visitors
- Receive mail and packages
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Book travel arrangements
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Skills
- Proven experience with METRC
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
