Job Summary
The Closing Lead is a highly trusted Budtender that is trained to lead the closing process at the dispensary. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and should be the expert on closing the dispensary in an expedited, compliant way. They will also act as the evening team's de facto leader when a manager or Specialist is not present. This means that they have the authority to delegate tasks to other budtenders and escalate issues to management accordingly. The Closing Lead will be responsible for cleaning the store, completing reporting requirements, and properly storing and securing all inventory. We are Diem, a well-established cannabis delivery service that is expanding our delivery service. We are currently hiring for delivery driver/ customer service positions to provide an exceptional customer experience. This hybrid position is based out of Portland, where drivers will stock up for the day before running their routes in the Beaverton and Portland area. Drivers will also be cross trained on answering phone calls and processing orders at the Portland office. We are a small company, we all support eachother!

Job Summary
Security personnel work under the supervision of the Security Specialist and are stationed strategically at the dispensary to enhance the security presence of the operation. Primarily working from the front end of the building and the reception area, Security are the first to greet customers at the door and the last to thank customers as they leave. General priorities of the Security personnel include but are not limited to ID verification, diversion prevention, code communication and enforcement, customer de-escalation, incident reporting, and contacting law enforcement if necessary. The Store Manager will work from the daily, weekly, and monthly Management checklists and report any incomplete tasks to the Vice President of Operations on a weekly basis. The role is intended to be primarily people-driven, ensuring that the day-to-day operations are in a steady state.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the team to drive sales and exceed financial goals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction in-store and online, address customer grievances, respond directly to customer feedback and communications to meet and exceed their expectations.

- Coordinate with HR Management whenever corrective action is needed for an employee’s violation of policy, poor performance, or prohibited conduct.
- Effectively staff and schedule employees, ensuring all full-time personnel are scheduled at a minimum of 30 hours per week, the business does not accrue overtime, and that the demands of the business are adequately resourced for high performance.
- Process time off requests and make adjustments to the schedule as needed, ensuring compliance with Diem’s Sick-Time/PTO policies as well as with federal and state labor laws.
- Execute necessary timecard adjustments for payroll processing prior to the deadline; validate time card discrepancy submission accuracy.
- Facilitate team meetings, including the monthly mandatory in-store meeting and voluntary weekly Level 10 meetings; relay and articulate company priorities and focus to the team.
- Maintain and develop all measurables and scorecards; use them as a way to keep a pulse on the store’s performance and make adjustments when necessary.

- Execute objectives from Operations Management personnel to push aging inventory, including aiding in the execution of price adjustments, bundle creations, and overall menu management.
- Execute daily check-ins with Specialists and Leads to assist with the successful completion of their routine tasks; troubleshoot and engage any escalations from employees as needed.
- Ensure all routine inventory, security, and compliance audits are completed in a timely manner pursuant to state regulations; assist wherever needed.
- Ensure all operating checklists are completed properly and in a timely manner; submit all checklists and audits to Diem Operations.
- Monitor employee cash and marijuana handling; investigate and follow up with discrepancies to identify the root cause of any issues (report evidence of theft to HR and the VP of Operations, Law Enforcement, and the Cannabis Control Commission).

Hey! We're Diem. We are excited to be in Lynn and are looking to expand our Invetory Specialist/budtending team. Ideal candidates must be punctual, respectful, flexible, professional, outgoing and positive with an outstanding work ethic with both customers and staff. Knowledge about cannabis, its uses and current state and federal laws is essential for this position.
Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist is a Budtender that receives additional training to support store management for compliant inventory activity. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and does not have any direct reports. However, they will be expected to support and cross-train other team members on basic inventory management tasks when appropriate. Store Management maintains control of the inventory planning, ordering, but will rely on the Inventory Specialist to ensure that all other inventory tasks are being completed in a timely and compliant manner.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and close any finished packages in METRC
- Compare zero packages to Flowhub and Dutchie and close/adjust thereafter
- Intake product and organize compliance and barcode labeling
- Maintain organization of all inventory bins and storage areas within limited access areas
- Move inventory from backstock to sales floor as needed
- Execute compliant waste procedures when necessary
- Complete Weekly and Monthly Inventory Audits, reconcile discrepancies, and report incidents accordingly
- Audit/count essential dispensary supply items (accessories, packaging, receipt & label papers)
- Maintain inventory PAR levels and prepare list of low-quantity items for reorder
- Properly file METRC Manifests and invoices
Certifications: Marijuana Agent Registration, Responsible Vendor Training Certification, Metrc Certification

Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) works closely with the Store Manager to plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes maintaining high store standards and conditions, maintaining optimal inventory levels, as well as fostering a positive work environment for Diem’s staff. As a representative of Store Management, the ASM is responsible for ensuring that all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook, Retail Operating Playbook, Operations Manual, and any additional policies, including those stored on the Gusto HR platforms, are properly being followed by the team.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Ensure systemic conformity to all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies by dispensary personnel
- Issue Corrective Action when necessary (in accordance with the Employee Handbook) for all issues related to employee conduct, violations of policy, veering off procedure, tardiness or unexcused absence.
- Work with dispensary leads and specialists to ensure proper execution of the Standard Operating Checklists; execute the Management Checklist with the SM.
- Aid the employees in solidifying and accomplishing their quarterly rocks
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and uniform menus in-store and online.
- Coordinate with budtenders to accomplish operational objectives, including the movement and labeling of inventory, the reporting of item and cash discrepancies, the execution of customer analytic and retention objectives set forth by Marketing.
- Serve as acting Store Manager (SM) when SM is away; assist the Store Manager as directed.
- Develop Interpersonal Development Plans with all team members and aid with the tracking of their performance metrics.
- Develop good client relationships and address customer service needs.
- Assist with the management of inventory, cash, maintenance and other operational functions with appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Oversee the weekly reporting of measurables to Company Scorecards.
- Liaise between company managers, customers and employees.
- Manage Metrc, Flowhub, Dutchie, Gusto, WhenIwork administrative functions.
- Troubleshooting any operational issues with technology or equipment.
- Maintain the overall culture of the store in a manner that is aligned with the company’s vision.
- Escort guests as needed, including but not limited to 3rd party vendors, contractors, regulators, city officials, banking partners, etc.
Store management will work from the "Management Checklist" and report incomplete tasks to the Vice President of Operations on a weekly basis. The expectation is that store management each spend at a minimum 40 hours per week in the dispensary. They should also expect to receive tasks outside of the dispensary day-to-day from Senior Leadership that may require additional hours inside or outside of the store. The role is intended to be primarily people driven, while leaving majority of day-to-day responsibilities to Specialists and the Operations Department.

- Maintains Diem Farm’s standard of cleanliness and sanitation to prevent pest infestation and plant disease outbreaks
- Regularly scouts grow operation for biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) plant disorders
- Plays a role in an Integrated Pest Management system developed to suppress pest populations below the economic threshold
- Maintains fertilizer and watering schedule of biomass under management supervision (understands N-P-K, PH, and PPM)
- Assists with inventory tracking, processing, and packaging
- Understands all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols within the operation
- Is well versed in the differences between strains, the sexes, and the life cycles of cannabis
- Understands and operates air filtration systems under management supervision
