DB Labs, LLC was the first cannabis testing lab to open in Nevada. DB Labs was the first ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited laboratory in Las Vegas and has recently moved to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. DB Labs provides a safer product for consumers and helps ensure cultivators and producers against recalls and lawsuits by following a very stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program and having over 50 years of combined laboratory technical experience. DB Labs is confident that we assure the scientific reliability of all laboratory data, that comply with the policies and procedures/standards set forth by the ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This program is designed to monitor equipment, personnel, duties, methods, internal procedures and documentation to ensure that the compliance of the laboratory is met.
DB Labs is currently looking for energetic, dedicated laboratory technicians to join our workforce. These positions are part-time (typically 16-32 hours/week). The lab is currently operating 3 shifts. The following shifts are available. Monday-Friday, 3:30 am to 11:15 am and Monday-Friday 7:30 pm to 2:30 am. Shifts are subject to change as the lab needs change.
Job Requirements
· Available to work a variety of shifts with a variable end time. Shifts depend on work available, and you may be called off or asked for availability to pick up additional shifts as the work fluctuates.
· At least 21 years of age per state law
· At a minimum, currently enrolled as a junior/senior or recent graduate in Chemistry, Biology, or a Science related field.
· Completed college-level chemistry courses with lab
· Detail-oriented
· Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
· Able to multi-task to complete multiple analyses in each shift
· Highly organized
· Must be able to work with chemicals and live biological cultures in a safe manner to minimize exposure to hazardous materials
o Chemicals include, but are not limited to, concentrated nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide, flammable solvents, pesticides, and cannabinoids
o Biological samples include, but are not limited to, mold/yeast, aspergillus, aerobic bacteria, salmonella, E Coli, and enterobacteria
· Able to work in a sterile, safe environment. Fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, safety glasses, lab coats, foot coverings, gloves, surgical face masks, and hairnets are in use to minimize contamination and to protect employees.
· Able to work in a high-throughput fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Able to work within ISO17025:2017 certified processes
· Sample receiving, including login data entry
· Sample preparation including accurately weighing samples, microbial plating, dilutions, pipetting using the appropriate methods and applicable QA/QC requirements
· Data interpretation as needed
· Data entry
· Supply ordering
· Maintain the laboratory with regard to good housekeeping, equipment, glassware care, safety and inventory control
· Sample and waste disposal
· Willing to assist in all areas as needed
All job offers are contingent upon the employee passing the state-mandated background check for an Agent Card. Upon acceptance of any offer made by DB Labs, the new employee must register and submit the required documents to the State for the Agent Card.

DB Labs is currently looking for an energetic, dedicated Sampling Technician to join our workforce. This position is either full time or part-time. A typical shift is Monday – Friday 10 - 7, but may require a flexible schedule if pickups are scheduled from a longer distance
Job Requirements
· At least 21 years of age per state law
· Minimum High School Diploma
· Detail-oriented
· Highly organized
· Customer-focused and able to interact with Customers in a positive and professional manner.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
· Must provide a clean, reliable car for transport of samples with a lockable trunk area. Mileage is reimbursed at the current federal rate. Smoking in vehicle is not allowed due to potential contamination of samples.
· Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
· Able to multi-task to complete multiple analyses in each shift
· Must be able to work with chemicals (alcohol and other solvents to clean tools and workspaces, flammable solvents, acid waste, sample disposal) in a safe manner.
· Able to work in a sterile, safe environment. Lab coats, foot coverings, gloves, surgical face masks, and hairnets are in use to minimize contamination.
· Able to work in a high-throughput fast-paced environment
· Able to comprehend the cannabis regulations for Nevada and able to explain regulations to customers as needed
· Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
