Outside Sales Representative
Dakine 420, a fast growing company in the cannabis industry producing award winning cannabis nutrients and grow mediums, is seeking an Outside sales representative to join our team. In this role you will help drive expansion of our national distribution base of producers and retailers.
Responsibilities
- Assess the market to identify and prioritize customer leads
- Facilitate introductions with prospective customers
- Travel within territory to meet with retailers and producers
- Determine customer needs and provide solutions
- Effectively communicate company, brand and product benefits
- Present sales programs, prepare quotes
- Reach agreed upon sales targets
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with business partners
- Travel to company headquarters as required for sales meetings and training
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years minimum sales experience, specifically business development/new sales
- Experience of cannabis industry and/or cannabis cultivation
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license with minimal citations.
- Strong work ethic
- Previous sales training
