As a CULTA Indoor Cultivation Laborer in Cambridge, MD, you will be an integral part of a busy Cultivation team assisting with daily tasks of cultivation efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current cultivation SOP's.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Must be able to learn the specific methods and procedures for all tasks set forth in the current cultivation SOP's.
- Must be able to monitor plant health and growth rates in order to accurately report any changes or discrepancies to management staff.
- Will be responsible for daily scouting activities, daily plant feeding assessments, and performing basic tasks during each day.
- Will be responsible for performing all cleaning operations throughout the facility efficiently, correctly, and with attention to detail.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Extraction Supervisor is responsible for the oversite and supervision of the Extraction Team within the Culta Processing Facility in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and standards set by Culta. The Extraction Supervisor oversees the execution of cannabis into extracts by different methods as an integral part of the facility's daily production schedule. They are responsible in communicating with the Laboratory Manager to ensure all operational needs are met and any procedural problems are addresses and resolved proactively.
Job Duties & Responsibilities l Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises the operations of all extraction equipment in Class 1 Division 2 Room as well as the Oven Room.

Ensures routine maintenance and cleaning is performed on all equipment and the logs are up to date, complete and compliant with state regulations.
- Able to identify problems or malfunctions with laboratory equipment and responsible for communicating with the Laboratory Manager when equipment is not preforming optimally.
- Communicates with the Distillation Supervisor on what products can be expected to be transferred post extraction, ensuring all production goals are met.
- Works with the Extraction Lead to establish production schedules and communicates those to the Laboratory Manager.

Ensures that all the documentation of all activities in company laboratory notebooks/ online logs and inventory tracking system software is always up to date, accurate and compliant with state regulations.
- Oversees the training of incoming staff on use of all extraction equipment and all processes for cannabinoid purification, and isolation.
- Works with the Analytical Laboratory team in monitoring quality control to ensure high quality, accurate results of samples.
- Monitors the sample collection for third-party testing and ensures accuracy on transportation manifests.
- Ensures that test samples that have cleared from testing are transferred to packaging team and communicates with the Packaging Supervisor.
- Assists in quality assurance of cannabis concentrates.
- Monitors the activities of Extraction team to ensure that all employees scheduled are in attendance and not exceeding OT limits.
- Meets with Laboratory Manager and team members on regular basis to update on production schedules and meeting production target expectations. Complies with all appropriate ethical, safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, including safety, environmental and document control requirements.
- Maintains a safe and productive laboratory work area that is clean, organized, and ready for a state inspection at any time.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for grinding and extraction of cannabis for cannabis products in the Culta Processing facility in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and standards set by Culta. Reports directly to the Extraction Engineer. Responsible for communicating known issues to the management team and must be able to follow standard operating procedures within the facility.
- Preparation of cannabis flower for extraction, including but not limited to logging the information of each batch, destemming and breaking down frozen biomass.
- Filling the extraction equipment with solvent.
- Clean and dry the equipment after each batch.
- Inspect the machine or equipment for operational integrity to ensure that the instrument and receiving vessels are clean and free from residual plant matter from the previous match.
- Perform a visual inspection of raw plant material to ensure that only the highest quality flower is used.
- Bring any discrepancies in quality to the Extraction Engineer.
- Perform quality checks on the finished cannabis products.
- Wear personal protective equipment required to operate each machine.
- Prevent cross contamination and manufacturing fumes from being incorporated into the extracted substances.

Job Summary:
The Indoor Harvest Associate will be directly under the supervision and direction of the Cultivation Manager. The Associate will understand all current techniques being utilized in the compliant harvesting of cannabis plants. Must understand all cleaning and sanitizing procedures for the cultivation areas. Must ensure all tasks are being performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current SOP's.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will work with cultivation team to harvest the room efficiently.
- Must be up to date with and follow the harvest and room fill schedule under the direction of the Cultivation Manager.
- Must clear grow rooms of all used coco bags/pots after the room is harvested.
- Must clean grow rooms of all material that is left from the prior harvest (leaf, coco, trellis, etc.)
- Must coordinate with the Cultivation Manager to refill empty grow room with the next harvest batch.

Must coordinate with Cultivation Manager to accomplish any cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance needed in the 3-5 days in between filling a room and the next harvest, to keep the grow facility in top shape.

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the oversite and supervision of the Distillation, Edible and Extraction Teams within the Culta Laboratory. Responsible for a variety of distillation tasks and distillation data entry for cannabis concentrate products within the Culta Processing facility in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and standards set by Culta. POSITION SUMMARY
The Cultivation Laborer will be directly under the supervision and direction of The Assistant Cultivation Manager, and Cultivation Crew Supervisor. Must read and understand any current cultivation SOP's relevant to the position, complete compliance and securities training, and follow accordingly for all aspects of cultivation. Will work in teams with cultivation laborers and Crew Supervisor to perform the daily tasks of cultivation. Must ensure all tasks are being performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current cultivation SOP's
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to learn the specific methods and procedures for all tasks set forth in the current cultivation SOP's.
- Must be able to monitor plant health and growth rates in order to accurately report any changes or discrepancies to management staff.

Will be responsible for daily scouting activities, daily plant feeding assessments, and performing basic tasks during each day.
- Will be responsible for performing all cleaning operations throughout the facility efficiently, correctly, and with attention to detail.
- Will be a hands on worker involved in all daily tasks including (but not limited to): transplanting, cloning, pruning, waste disposal, harvesting, foliar spraying, all cleaning procedures, trellising, use of inventory tracking tags, and mixing of fertilizer solutions.

- Knowledge of or ability to learn indoor hydroponic cultivation practices, life cycle of cannabis, and the common pests of cannabis.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow direction well.
- Ability to work with a team of laborers and help other workers complete tasks and develop skills, and complete tasks correctly in a timely and efficient manner.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for grinding and extraction of cannabis for cannabis products in the Culta Processing facility in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and standards set by Culta. Reports directly to the Extraction Engineer. Responsible for communicating known issues to the management team and must be able to follow standard operating procedures within the facility.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of cannabis flower for extraction, including but not limited to logging the information of each batch, destemming and breaking down frozen biomass.
- Filling the extraction equipment with solvent.
- Clean and dry the equipment after each batch.
- Inspect the machine or equipment for operational integrity to ensure that the instrument and receiving vessels are clean and free from residual plant matter from the previous match.
- Perform a visual inspection of raw plant material to ensure that only the highest quality flower is used.
- Bring any discrepancies in quality to the Extraction Engineer.
- Perform quality checks on the finished cannabis products.
- Wear personal protective equipment required to operate each machine.
- Prevent cross contamination and manufacturing fumes from being incorporated into the extracted substances.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Accurately weigh and record all products in our inventory tracking system.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the processing area.

Distillation Lead
Position Summary
Responsible for a variety of distillation tasks and distillation data entry for cannabis concentrate products within the Culta Processing facility in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and standards set by Culta. Responsible for communicating known issues to the management team and must be able to follow standard operating procedures within the facility.
Core Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares crude extract oil for winterization.
- Assists with the decarboxylation, winterization, terpene strip and distillation of cannabis products.
- Prepares test samples for third party verification within the distillation dept.
- Prepares and confirms testing sample manifest against third party Chain of Command.
- When needed, assists in the preparation of dry and fresh frozen cannabis material for extraction.
- Accurately weigh and record all products.
- Utilize and maintain distillation logs.
- Within 90 days be able to operate with accuracy within Metrc.
- Dispose of green waste after distillations.
- Ensure all equipment and vessels are maintained to ensure a safe and sanitary process.
- Wear personal protective equipment required to operate each machine.
- Prevent cross contamination and manufacturing fumes from being incorporated into the extracted concentrate oil.
- Follow all facility sanitation procedures.
- Communicate known issues to the management team.
- Follow all safety protocols put into place for machine operation by following SOPs to meet Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all processing areas.

Additional Duties As Required
- Assist with Indoor and Outdoor flower harvests (when available), or any other assigned project/task.
Job Tasks

Daily:- Create testing tags for 3rd party analysis within the distillation department.
- Tracks all testing samples within logs and Metrc Inventory tracking system.
- Files COAs on passed production batches and communicates with the Packaging lead on when these are ready to be packaged.

- Preform a visual inspection of crude material to ensure that only the highest quality materials are used. Bring any discrepancies in quality to the Distillation Lead.
- Assists with the delivery of solvents.
- Ensure that the distillation room and equipment is properly set up at the beginning of each day.
- Assists in cleaning glassware.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to learn and accurately follow the trimming methods set forth in the company SOP's.

Must be able to be a productive, and efficient worker without sacrificing the overall quality of the product. The goal is 1 pound of trimmed flower per Trimmer per day.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the post-harvest environment, and any equipment used for trimming, drying, and harvesting.

- Clean and dry the equipment after each batch.
- Inspect the machine or equipment for operational integrity to ensure that the instrument and receiving vessels are clean and free from residual plant matter from the previous match.

Position Summary
Assisting the Distillation Supervisor in daily operations and activities pertaining but limited to distillation, extraction, winterization, chromatography, and packaging of cannabis infused products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and tend to Short Path Distillation equipment and various other laboratory instruments according to SOP's.
- Perform all necessary equipment maintenance and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

- Must be able to monitor plant health and growth rates in order to accurately report any changes or discrepancies to management staff.

Will be responsible for daily scouting activities, daily plant feeding assessments, and performing basic tasks during each day.
- Will be responsible for performing all cleaning operations throughout the facility efficiently, correctly, and with attention to detail.
- Will be a hands on worker involved in all daily tasks including (but not limited to): transplanting, cloning, pruning, waste disposal, harvesting, foliar spraying, all cleaning procedures, trellising, use of inventory tracking tags, and mixing of fertilizer solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS ANDEDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS

Must be 21+ years of age, be able to qualify as a registered grower agent with the Commission and may not have any violent or drug related felony convictions.
- Ability to work stand and remain active for long durations, work on a ladder or raised mobile platform, as well as be able to lift 50lbs. or more regularly each day.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn indoor hydroponic cultivation practices, life cycle of cannabis, and the common pests of cannabis.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow direction well.
- Ability to work with a team of laborers and help other workers complete tasks and develop skills, and complete tasks correctly in a timely and efficient manner.
