Condé Nast is seeking a marketer to join the Commercial Category Marketing team within the Lifestyle Division, responsible for developing the programs, go-to-market and unique selling proposition for the Vice category and for creating awareness and demand for all advertising programs for that category. The Manager, Vice Category Marketing will develop creative content and product led programs that combine industry-leading ideas with Condé Nast brand assets to engage audiences and drive results for our advertising partners in the Wine, Spirits, Tobacco and Cannabis industries. All in service of identifying and developing revenue-driving commercial opportunities across all media platforms including video, social, digital and print.
This individual will also work closely with the Director of CPG and Vice marketing to help further refine our offerings, uncover new products and tailor corporate initiatives for the Vice category. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and innovative, with a handle on the rapidly evolving media and marketing industry and is naturally collaborative and proactive.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide strategic recommendations to Vice category advertisers incorporating the full suite of Condé Nast offerings including content creation, event activations, influencer programs, social campaigns, print and more

Translate vice category marketplace needs into high-touch, cross-platform, data-first and content-driven opportunities across all global platforms

Identify custom ideas that will serve as compelling thought-starters for client conversations and that generate potential increase of overall advertiser spend

Work as an effective cross-functional partner with various internal stakeholders including Account Strategy, Production & Activation, Brand Marketing, Conde Nast Entertainment, Public Relations, Commercial Research & Insights and Sales
Essential Skills and Requirements

4-5+ years qualifying experience in publishing, digital media or ad sales marketing / strategy

Understanding of media and marketing metrics/KPIs, ad technology and platforms

Strong creative writer and strong presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Ability to quickly learn and navigate several internal processes and procedures

Self-starter who can work independently and within a team setting

Positive, creative, solutions-oriented and client focused

Bring a sense of “fun” that inspires others and creates a healthy environment

Be proactive, nimble and willing to pitch in wherever needed, as we are an evolving company
