Full Job Description
Social Media Intern
We’re looking for a passionate, self-motivated social media intern to join our marketing team!
At Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation, you have the opportunity to be part of something special. We are the first and only Texas owned and operated state-licensed producer of medical cannabis and are changing lives across the state.
As a social media intern, you will create social media content, write blogs, schedule posts, edit videos, create graphics, and stay up to date with medical cannabis news and research. You will have the opportunity to learn about a growing industry while gaining hands-on social media and content writing experience.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should be knowledgeable about social media and have experience writing for different platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the medical cannabis industry as it stands in Texas
- Create graphics, videos, and written content for social media
- Write blogs about topics that are relevant to our patients and followers
- Monitor all social media platforms for comments and messages
- Contribute to the creation of email and social media campaigns
- Assist with daily administrative duties
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for Marketing, Communications or similar field
- Understanding of our brand voice and mission
- Familiarity with marketing software and social media platforms
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and video editing software a plus
- Video editing experience a plus
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines and create ad hoc content a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
To be considered for this role, you will be required to submit three examples of your social media and/or content writing experience.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control Analyst

We are seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and organized person to join our Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) team. The QA/QC Analyst will report to the Director of QA/QC and will ensure that analytical testing is conducted safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory requirements. Suitable candidates are curious problem-solvers who enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or related field with relevant skills and a strong interest in analytical chemistry. Experience with chromatography, method development, and method validation preferred.

Knowledge of chemical principles and methods, including working safely with hazardous chemicals

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance and Control Analyst:

Participate in the organizational safety program and work safely within guidelines of OSHA Laboratory Standard including use of protective laboratory practices and equipment.
- Ensure products of known and documented quality through performing work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and all applicable regulations.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing.

Analyze samples using instrumentation including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).
- Perform maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments: HPLC, GCMS, and ICP.
- Optimize the use of analytical instrument software (Chemstation, GCMSsolution, ICPEsolution).

Test samples for microbiological contamination.
- Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods.
- Assist in optimizing laboratory operations through automation and software solutions.
- Ensure traceability through generating, organizing and managing records of sample preparation, analytical test results, standards, and reagents.
- Work with the team to implement continuous improvement, streamline workflows and build efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary laboratory environment.
- Collect all hazardous/non-hazardous waste generated by analytical processes and transfer to appropriate collection areas.
- Manage inventory for consumables.
- Host tours of analytical laboratory for patients and supporters
