Cultivation Technician

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day procedures that ensure the successful cultivation of cannabis plants, including but not limited to: feeding, pruning, washing, planting, transplanting, flushing, harvesting and handling, under the guidance of the Cultivation Manager and/or Lead Grower. They will be responsible for following all Standard Operating Worksheets (SOW’s) as they relate to various aspects of our cultivation process and to maintain compliance throughout the facility. The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process.
Job Responsibilities:
These include but are not limited to (other duties may be assigned):
- Ensure accurate data collection for METRC and internal databases.
- Aide in all aspects of plant life cycle, including but not limited to; plant watering, defoliating, cleaning, feeding, fertilizing, and transplanting, as assigned.
- Assist with order fulfillment, drying, curing, and trimming.
- Follows Integrated Pest Management procedures to prevent contamination and ensure overall plant health.
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility. Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools.
- Follow all safety protocols and policies; demonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Background check required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience cultivating cannabis is not required
- Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability and interest to be taught and guided in areas related to cultivation and processing operations and procedures.

Complete training will be provided upon hiring.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 lbs. (100 lbs. with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.
- Regularly required to perform cleaning, carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, climbing ladders, bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Accounting Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, dependable individuals with a friendly and collaborative attitude and startup mentality to join our growing team.
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and accounting support to the Senior Controller. Daily responsibilities will include data entry, and tracking expenses and receipts. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to utilize software, such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and QuickBooks.
Job Responsibilities:
These include but are not limited to (other duties may be assigned):
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled financial reports
- Assists with vendor and client requests on behalf of the Senior Controller, including email responses phone call communication
- Reviews applicant resumes and schedules interviews
- Serves as a backup to assist with time punches and missing punch reports to department leadership
- Serves as a backup to process Time Off Requests and ensures these are updated in the timekeeping system
- Delivers items to be filed to office team, including but not limited to new hire paper work, time off request sheets, employee paperwork, etc
- Reach out to vendors via phone, or email as needed
- Accounts payable and receivable setup and maintenance
- Use various word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting software
- Establishes and maintains filing system, sorts and directs mail, and maintains an accurate company calendars as needed
- Any other duties assigned by the Accounting Director
Minimum Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Excellent computer skills; ideal candidate should be extremely technology-savvy
- Accounting experience is a plus; QuickBooks experience is a plus
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code
- Background check required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience cultivating cannabis is not required

The Harvest Technician provides manual labor which supports the post-cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. Responsibilities:
- Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction of cannabis waste
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties

- Management of both full-time and temporary employees: scheduling workflow, tracking working hours, inputting timesheets, ensuring meal/rest break compliance, and coordinating staffing needs with the Cultivation Manager
- Curing of all products post-processing; using the timeframes outlined in the SOP in conjunction with sensory judgment to determine when a batch is ready for packaging
- Coordinate with the manufacturing (extraction) and packaging departments to forecast the time and volume of products ready for extraction and dry flower packaging
- Compile KPIs and daily/weekly productivity reporting

Responsibilities:

- Daily data entry and recording of all plant material weights into corresponding harvest cycle spreadsheets
- Training employees to perform all dry flower processing tasks according to the SOP
- Oversight of all flower processing-related tasks, making sure employees are following SOPs, and issuing corrective action when employees do not follow SOPs
- Management of both full-time and temporary employees: scheduling workflow, tracking working hours, inputting timesheets, ensuring meal/rest break compliance, and coordinating staffing needs with the Cultivation Manager
- Curing of all products post-processing; using the timeframes outlined in the SOP in conjunction with sensory judgment to determine when a batch is ready for packaging
- Coordinate with the manufacturing (extraction) and packaging departments to forecast the time and volume of products ready for extraction and dry flower packaging
- Compile KPIs and daily/weekly productivity reporting
- Perform labor projections and coordinate with Cultivation Manager and Controller
- Track and order department-wide consumables and inventory
- Any other task assigned by the Cultivation Manager
Qualifications:
- Leadership experience managing a diverse team of 10 or more people.
- Greater than 1-year of experience in a management role in a licensed commercial cannabis facility.
- Adept in Excel/Google Sheets, Metrc, and Microsoft software.
- The Processing Manager will need to be agile in the delegation, as there are time constraints from when a plant is harvested to the completion of processing for manufacturing. This position requires good leadership and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment.
- The Processing Manager will be required to learn different cultivars/strains, and how to trim/cure each cultivar based on its individual characteristics.
- A large portion of the Processing Managers' role will rely on smell, feel, and experience to determine if the product is at the ideal time to be packaged.

Job Description:
Manage all aspects of a new state of the art 20,000 square foot cultivation facility in Sacramento, California. The facility enjoys a reputation as a top-quality flower producer receiving top dollar for the current 10,000 square foot facility. Additional 10,000 coming online in the fall of 2024. The ideal candidate will have Cannabis growing experience and horticultural background. The manager is expected to be very self-directed and self-managed at a high level. Knowledge of fertilizer injection systems is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- The manager will be responsible for managing to grow staff in all aspects of the business.
- This will include crop planning and mother stock maintenance. Creating weekly work plans for all cultivation staff.
- The work includes mother stock, creating cuttings for internal flower production as well as clones for sale to other growers.
- Currently, five rooms are in production and harvested every other week.
- The manager will be directly responsible for pest control, growing and harvesting of all crops, and all movement within the facility.
- The manager will report directly to the owner.
Salary commensurate with candidate credentials.
