he Production Associate performs all post-harvest functions including trimming, packaging, labeling, and record keeping. This position is cross-trained and responsible for rotating between all functional areas. This person must exercise care to ensure products adhere to Chronic Guru's quality control standards. Responsibilites
- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the packaging technician staff to achieve shift packaging goals for final packaging of products
- This position will work closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor to organize work, train staff and monitor production and quality
- Set up room for efficient operation of trimming, pre rolling, and packaging
- Track flower from cultivation batch record to trim, grind, finish product, and waste records
- Accurately fill out Master batch record (TTLF's, TLF's, TGR's, TPR's) both paper and electronically (EBR)
- Collect hourly metrics from trim, preroll, packaging, and biotrack labeling/QA
- Accurately maintain the DMR (daily manufacturing report) to ensure reconciliation of flower and accuracy and completeness of data
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Help monitor and manage packaging equipment, supplies and inventory
- Executing all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with company's SOP's and all applicable manufacturing procedures
- Perform in-process and post-process sampling according to protocols or batch records
- Support new product lines and process development as needed
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedureswork.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior packaging and inventory experience a plus
- Experience using inventory software and Excel a plus
- Experience working in a production environment required.

- Operates flower packaging machine including drop weighing and feeding packages and labels into sealing mechanism
- Utilizes grading system to determine designation for sale as flower or for concentrates; reports any sup-optimal flower or deficiencies to department leadership
- Performs quality control checks and ensures uniformity
- Maintains accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches
- Maintains accurate record keeping in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Sorts and catalogs waste in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Maintains an organized and sanitary work area, including all machinery
- Maintains a safe work environment, actively contributing to continuous improvements and wearing proper PPE
- Meets and exceed daily and weekly weight goals set by department leadership
- Report any sub-optimal flower or deficiencies to department leadership

The Cultivation Technician works along side the head grower providing daily care of cannabis plants from planting to harvest. They will assist with quality care and attention to the growing process of the plants from clone to harvest which includes cloning, transplanting, watering, and providing nutrients.
