Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Logistics Manager and the Chief Operating Officer, we are seeking a Laboratory Transport Agent to perform courier services for the laboratory, transporting cannabis samples from our client facilities to the laboratory for regulatory testing. Laboratory Transport Agents must have excellent driving skills and excellent customer service skills and must be able to work as part of a small team while completing collections and completing administrative duties as determined by the Logistics Manager.
Essential Functions
· Represent CDX Analytics to our clients by always completing collection services in a punctual and professional manner.
· Transport cannabis samples from licensed cannabis establishments to the laboratory using our company vehicle.
· Cross-check sample weights at arrival before loading.
· Assist clients with completion of manifests and essential paperwork ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) requirements.
· Operate company transport vehicle in accordance with company policy and in compliance with Massachusetts state regulations.
· Physically load and unload product from the transport vehicle.
· Perform occasional logistical tasks relating to the operation of the laboratory.
Competencies
· Minimum high-school diploma or equivalent.
· Operate the company vehicle in a safe manner while obeying all traffic laws.
· Competently operate company communication technology and always maintain required regular communication with the dispatch agent.
· Complete required administrative tasks during transport to ensure compliance with CCC requirements.
· Complete all CDX Analytics internal on-boarding and training requirements.
· Previous driving experience is a plus.
· Customer service experience essential.
· Must be available for full and occasional extended days – start times vary from 7am to 9am depending on the day’s workload. Must be able to maintain a flexible working schedule and adjust if hours are extended during a shift.
Regulatory Requirements

· Candidates must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Reporting to the Director of Laboratory Operations, we are looking for a responsible Associate Scientist to facilitate the analysis of cannabis for residual solvents, terpenes, pesticides, cannabinoids, microbials and mycotoxins, performing tests using HS-GC-FID, GC-MSMS, HPLC-UV, ICP-MS, PCR and HPLC-MSMS while ensuring up-to-date compliance of all laboratory practices with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Essential Functions
- Enter or validate data entries and calculations.
- Monitor instrumentation to ensure minimal downtime.
- Calibration and daily maintenance of instrumentation.
- Support the Director of Laboratory Operations with method optimization and method validation as needed.
- Coordinate with procurement department to ensure consumables are available, instruments are properly maintained, and waste compliance is met.
- Organize and update documentation that ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 state and any future federal regulations, sample accountability, assay verification, instrument preventative maintenance, chemical inventory, and consumable inventory.
- Strictly maintain up to date documentation in electronic and paper format.
- Work with other departments to meet and exceed quality assurance standards.
