About the role:
We are looking to add an energetic Sales Rep to our Arizona team. Based out of our Phoenix office but spending most days on the road, this position will be a critical part of MFUSED’s commercial sales objectives, initiatives, and strategies. As an integral member of our team, you will manage the success of your assigned region(s) and accounts, while setting short- and long-term commercial sales strategies. A key aspect will be evaluating the effectiveness and success of current programs and product brands and staying ahead in a fast-growing and highly competitive market. Some additional key areas of responsibility also include but are not limited to the following:
- Be the most professional/knowledgeable salesperson in the industry
- Be responsible for executing and exceeding sales and profit goals set forth by the Sales Manager
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to accumulate new leads/prospects and turn those prospects into customers
- Manage book of business, make productive contact with existing clients and grow business through establishing a consultative sales process, executing and implementing proven methodologies within accounts
- Establish strong relationships with customers through visits, texts, emails, and phone calls
- Logging all communications in the CRM
- Handle all customer-related questions, inquiries, and orders professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with the management team to expand the company's presence in the region and state
- Leverage company tools: Soro, Cultivera, Basecamp, Badger Maps, Pipeline, Schedule, and Prospects List, to make our business more efficient and effective
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
- Create forecasts and execution plans in collaboration with operational and manufacturing leadership for quarterly and annual financial achievements.
- Follow all state, local, and company rules and ensure conformance to all laws
- Other duties as assigned
Some qualification for our new Sales Rep:
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Driven by big, audacious goals
- Positive outlook with a winning attitude
- Willing to travel up to 70 percent of the time
- Computer, spreadsheet and overall tech & mobile skills
- Experience selling a cannabis oil product line with both THC and CBD focused products including cartridges, extracts, concentrates, etc.
- 4-5 years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
- Excellent verbal communication & presentation skills.

Canvas Therapeutics is a newly established, rapidly growing provider of all-natural hemp extracts and CBD products with operations in Seattle, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona. Our vision is to transform health and wellness by integrating cannabinoids as a standard therapy to improve quality of life without harmful side effects. Unlike most CBD-offerings in the market, our products are developed by integrative physicians and clinicians, who are experts in cannabinoid therapy, offering industry-leading cannabinoid concentrations, advanced formulations, safety and efficacy.
What We DoA privately held company, Canvas has the capacity to formulate, manufacture and deliver cannabinoid products for sale at the wholesale and retail level. We currently offer two major product lines and associated brands.1. Our Polite brand of products (www.staypolite.com) combine unique formulations of cannabinoids, Ayurvedic and naturopathic herbs, with a focus on health and wellness. Product format types include tinctures, oral sprays, vapes and topicals which are currently sold to wholesalers. Through licensing partnerships in the cannabis industry, we currently have launched in the regulated Washington state adult use recreational market. We will also be launching in the federally legal hemp market, through retailers such as pharmacies, health food stores, CBD shops and online.2. Our Revida Labs brand of products (www.revidalabs.com) are professional strength CBD and CBG products targeted for healthcare use, and include tinctures, softgels and topicals. Revida Labs products are sold in pharmacies and for hospice and palliative care in particular. Being 100% hemp based, they can and are also sold directly to consumers through our website.
The RoleAs a small team experiencing high growth, we are looking for a full time Project Manager that can serve as “central command,” coordinating multiple streams of work, stakeholders, and initiatives, and keeping our various areas of strategy, execution, and decision aligned with our goals and timelines. This would include working with the entire management team to develop scopes of work, schedules and budgets for specific tasks and functions. Examples might include coordinating the launch of a new product or product line, entering a new market, monitoring sales forecasts, procurement and inventory to assure adequate supply consistent with cash requirements, and similar operations essential to the growth of Canvas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop specific scopes of work for key projects by directly interfacing with various functions (sales, operations, finance, compliance, marketing, executive management, etc.) and obtaining consensus as to objectives, goals and timing, including risk management
- Establish schedules for work scopes consistent with objectives, including predecessor and successor activities and dependencies, key milestones and deliverables
- Working with each function, identifying resource requirements for each scope and major tasks, including personnel, equipment, materials, third parties, funding, etc.
- Develop budgets specific to each project consistent with team needs and Company resources, and obtain concurrence from each functional lead; Obtain executive approval for budget and cash needs
- Assure each team member understands responsibilities, deliverables and timelines associated with scope, schedule, quality and budget
- Monitor progress against all objectives of schedule and budget on a consistent basis and report progress to functional leads and management as appropriate
- Identify any adjustments required to scope, schedule, resources or budget which would negatively impact achievement of project objectives; communicate to management for resolution
- Provide periodic reports to project team members and Company executives to communicate status, risks, adjustments or other issues
- Because of the evolving nature of the Company, Project Manager may be tasked with other/additional functions or routine tasks, such as supporting our Director of Operations in monitoring inventory, providing support in certain procurement tasks, assisting with quality issues and other operational functions
- Provide input, when requested, to the annual business strategy and budgeting process
- Other duties as required
Qualifications *
- 2-5 years experience in a direct Project Management role, preferably in pharmaceuticals, health supplements, health care products or medical devices. If no prior experience in these industries, please share how your experience is relevant to our business
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, health or biological sciences, or related field
- Highly personable, self-starter, articulate, energetic, can thrive in a start-up environment
- Strong technical skills including fluency in project management software tools, such as: Budgeting, Tracking and related tasks (e.g., Microsoft Excel); Planning and Scheduling programs (e.g., Microsoft Project); Presentations (Powerpoint); Financial reporting programs; Inventory control programs; and similar.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; a team player
- Interest in the cannabinoid industry and willing to dive into an emergent, highly dynamic business
- An understanding of and the ability to assess corporate financial tracking and reporting tools, including P&L statements, Balance Sheet, inventory control, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve problems creatively and collaboratively
- Because of Company’s rapid growth, individual must be resourceful and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
