The Budtender/Sales Associate is the ambassador for the customer’s experience, from the initial greeting through product purchase, and the continuous maintenance of the customer relationship. A Budtender assesses the customer’s needs and educates them on the benefits of various products. The ideal candidate should be dependable, skilled in sales techniques, and motivated and passionate about the customer service industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent the brand in a positive and compliant manner while providing the best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customer’s expectations
- Establish relationships with customers and provide a memorable customer experience to create loyalty to our brand
- Offer customers helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance including relaying information on product equivalencies and responsible use of products as well as making tailored recommendations
- Stay current on product and cannabis related information and provide information in a digestible and customer-friendly way
- Contribute to a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
- Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system to process payments and finalize orders
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance while in our customer-based environment or while representing our brand
- Responsible for maintaining the store in a clean, organized, safe manner with special attention paid to merchandising standards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Six months to one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service required
- One or more years of work experience in a related industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, and prior experience with Point of Sale software preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
Opportunity for Delivery Driving:
Our Budtenders also have the extra opportunity to make deliveries to our customers! It is not a requirement of the Budtender role to perform deliveries, but an additional duty for those who are willing. To be eligible a valid driver's license is required, as well as the completion of a satisfactory motor vehicle record check. Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required. 25 years of age or older is preferred.
About the role: We are hiring for both part-time and full-time team members. Full time team members are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits after completion of a new hire probationary period. We also offer PTO and an in-store discount! Pay rate begins at $15 per hour.

The Store Manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the assigned retail location in accordance with the State of Michigan and standards set by the Company. Job Responsibilities
- Build and continuously coach an exceptional team that will always provide the highest level of customer experience
- Exceed the customers’ expectations by implementing and training staff on exceptional service delivery and strategies
- Effectively communicate and delegate goals, tasks, and responsibilities to the team to ensure a smooth operational flow
- Monitor and manage staffing, scheduling, operations, processes, etc.
- Help to implement and enforce HR policies and standard operating procedures including safety requirements
- Clear knowledge and understanding of state and local cannabis regulations (including Metrc) and ensure that compliance is executed in daily operations
- Encourage and promote a teamwork environment and empowering team members to self-manage
- Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions
- Meet or exceed sales goals, profitability, and operational excellence
- Drive customer visit goals and increase the number of returning customers
- Analyze, forecast, and deliver financial and operational reporting regularly
- Monitor and provide analysis of product trends and opportunities
- Evaluate and manage competitive pricing for optimization of sales
- Identify underperforming metrics and help develop strategies for improvement
- Foster positive and productive relationships with all vendors
- Monitor and manage inventory, product placement, store presentations and work with the Brand Development team to raise awareness and increase sales
- Engage meaningfully in the local community through events, programs and partnerships
- Implement systems of checks and balances in areas vulnerable to loss
- Liaising with the Executive Team
Job Requirements
- 4 years retail management experience required
- 4 years customer service experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Understanding of state and local marijuana laws preferred
- Prior experience with cannabis systems like FlowHub, Metrc, and Dutchie preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment
- Highly self motivated and accountable
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred but not required (related work experience will be heavily considered)
- Must be 21 years of age or older

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a warm, attentive, education-driven hospitality experience for our guest from
entry to exit and beyond
- Educate guests on store offerings and lead them to the perfect purchase
- Drive sales and profitability through genuine connection and relationship building
- Accurately process transactions
- Prioritize guest over all other job functions
- Ensure displays are presentable, stocked and organized at all times
- Effectively communicate with team members and store leadership to solve problems

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years in retail, service or hospitality

- Friendly demeanor, engaging manner, and strong work ethic
