Full Job Description

This job opportunity as a grower of shrubs/trees and perennial flowering crops will keep you active and mostly in an outdoor environment. Growers are responsible for the health of the crops, this includes daily irrigation, as well as monitoring of crops for pest /disease and fertility issues. The grower is required to collaborate on the plant health care regimen and execute a spray schedule as crops and conditions require, incorporating IPM best practices.

A successful candidate will hold a Private Applicators Pesticide License and have experience with various types horticultural crops, their pests and diseases, spray and irrigation equipment operation, and be able to operate tractors/ATVs and other medium duty equipment. Mechanical ability is a plus.

3-5 Years experience growing woody or perennial crops is required, Bachelors in Plant Science preffered.

This job requires at least one weekend day or alternating weekends throughout the growing season.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
