Warehouse & Logistics Manager
NH Distribution of California, Inc. (Calyx Brands) is a well-established cannabis distribution company. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistic Manager to manage our Santa Rosa facility. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a cannabis environment; METRC knowledge and compliance of DCC requirements.
The responsibilities include:
MANAGEMENT
- Recruit, interview and on-board new staff
- Coordinate and train new employees
- Manage Drivers – including but not limited to daily routes/schedules, annual performance reviews and incident reports
- Approve timesheets and PTO requests for direct reports
- Exhibit exceptional team leadership skills
- Immediately communicate to Senior Management any personnel issues that may adversely affect the company
OPERATIONS
- Maintain storage area to meet all compliance regulations/requirements
- Coordinate product intake
- Receive and process Sales Quotes utilizing CRM and QuickBooks
- Prepare Product Deliveries
- Manage Inventory
- Manage Vehicles
- Facilitate METRC
- Lab Procedures – understand and execute lab submissions compliant with DCC regulations
ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain records associated with Visitor logs and badges to meet regulatory re
- Manage training logs and employee records
- Maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Maintain delivery schedule
- Maintain invoices/manifests
- Order fulfillment
- Perform delivery services as needed
- Work closely with Sales Reps to best serve all clients
- Communicate with Sales Reps and Clients, as needed
- Advocate for the best interest of the company, clients and employees
- Share strategic observations with appropriate management personnel
FINANCE/ACCOUNTING
- Maintain cash journals
- Assist in customer cash collection
- Provide vendor and/or employee payments
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree, preferably in business
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing a cannabis distribution warehouse
- Knowledge of METRC and DCC requirements
- Strong technical and leadership skills; calm under pressure and rational problem solver
- Detailed knowledge of computers, inventory management system and QuickBooks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise and motivate employees
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work with all levels of management
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience

We are a licensed cannabis distributor that represents about 15 leading cannabis brands including premium flower, concentrates, edibles, drinks, and more. We work with producers and manufacturers to help get the highest caliber products into the best dispensaries across the state of California.
We are passionate about this industry and are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter who has experience opening and servicing retail accounts. Ideally, this person has existing Cannabis Experience and established relationships.
The Sales Representative will drive direct sales, meet/exceed goals, build long-term partnerships, organize demos/promos, and staff events in Los Angeles County. An understanding of the cannabis industry and the competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to develop relationships and provide excellent support to accounts, is essential for success in this role.
The sales process includes making initial contact, signing new accounts, building account relationships, and generating sales revenue.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage an assigned territory making consistent positive contact with existing clients as well as potential new business opportunities.
- Target, qualify and pursue leads and translate to sales
- Plan and execute sales calls, appointments, and site visits.
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Grow current accounts by selling in additional product offerings
- The ability to connect with clients through multiple touchpoints- Owners, Managers, Buyers, and Budtenders.
- Conduct brand/field ridealongs
- Build and grow high-level relationships with buyers and dispensary owners
- Track and log notes for all scheduled and completed meeting with potential and existing clients.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential clients, explaining product, overcoming objectives to drive business using a consultative sales process.
- Stay current with industry trends to identify new opportunities for company growth.
- Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff.
- Work closely with our VP of Sales to ensure successful planning, development, and execution of your sales strategy plan to achieve personal and company sales goals.
- Follow all state, local and company rules to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license are mandatory.
- Engaging, persuasive and out-going personality
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong Sales and organizational skills
- Passion for cannabis and this growing industry
- Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a minimum of 2 years outside sales experience and cannabis industry experience highly preferred.
- Existing relationships with owners and decision-makers of licensed dispensaries and/or connections to buyers in the industry preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 21 years old.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Proficient in email communication and web research
- Able to learn new technology tools and applications as needed to support your work (i.e. CRM, database management, social media, communication applications)
