Job Overview
The Delivery Drivers is responsible for the execution of daily delivery operations of Budega retail outlets, including ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and company policies, measuring business trends, and maximizing sales/profitability. The Delivery Driver is expected to meet or exceed the expectations of their position by consistently demonstrating sound business skills, fair process management, and ability to effectively communication with guests reflective of the company culture.
Key Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities)
Key responsibilities of the Delivery Driver include the execution of scheduled deliveries while adhering to Budega policies & maintaining product inventory. The Delivery Driver is also responsible for representing the Budega Delivery brand & its promotions in accordance with exceptional company standards. In addition, any vehicle maintenance and compliance reporting as they pertain to the daily operations.

General Responsibilities
- Exhibit the highest level of customer service during all guest and staff interactions.
- Participating in ongoing education and professional development pertaining to cannabis industry changes.
- Execute daily operations.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to guests in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before leaving assigned facility and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and we have all legal requirements satisfied.
- Loading and unloading order from vehicles.
Additional Responsibilities
- Vehicle maintenance scheduled and unscheduled
- Educate customers on product and identify customer needs.
- Ensure that the Budega is always clean and well-organized.
- Additional duties as assigned by corporate management teams.

- Minimum of six (6) months experience in cannabis retail or a similarly regulated industry.
- Working knowledge of California cannabis laws and regulations, preferably in delivery operations.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to constantly position self to maintain inventory, restock, organize, and maintain back of house.
- Must be able to move up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
Environment and Working Conditions
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- 4 or 8- hour shift.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.
- Personal protective equipment provided.
- Social distancing guidelines in place.
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place.

- Familiarize yourself with customers, both medical and recreational.
- Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
- Working within state regulations and guidelines.
- Managing the point-of-sale and maintaining accurate cash handling.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is safe to operate.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must have current State of California Guard Card Certification · Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to exhibit consistent professional communication.
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- 21 years of age or older.
- Highschool Diploma required.
- Cannabis Industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of California cannabis laws and regulations preferred.
- Passion and knowledge for cannabis.
- Experience in a retail/customer service environment.
- Cash handling and POS experience.
