Position Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding an existing book of Brightfield’s customers. This includes renewing, cross-selling, and expanding customers’ use of Brightfield Group’s market intelligence, consumer insights, and custom service solutions. Success in this position requires an individual who is entrepreneurial, aggressive, accountable, and has a keen ability to identify opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
· Manage ongoing business relationships with C-Suite and stakeholders within our customer base.
· Ability to continuously drive value of Brightield’s products to increase adoption.
· Sell our portfolio of both syndicated and custom research to accounts with a defined territory.
· Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly basis.
· Travel to client locations for meetings as required and represent Brightfield at trades shows and industry conferences.
Compensation includes base salary and aggressive incentive program at 50- 100% of base.
Qualifications:
· Must have a customer-first mentality and the exceptional ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-activity sales environment.
· Minimum 4 years experience managing and growing existing accounts, ideally within the CPG or SaaS industries.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Comfortable multi-tasking client requests and hosting business development calls.
· Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven consultative selling style.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and prosper in a rapidly evolving industry.
· Experience in the market research or Cannabis/CBD industries a plus
· Ability to travel ~20%.
· Sense of humor.

Insights Director

We help companies to plan their entrance and expansion by identifying key consumers, trends and white space while watching out for unexpected pitfalls.
Responsibilities:
· Managing Team of Research managers overseeing key areas (brand health, market sizing, custom work)
· Ensuring a high level of quality of work in client ready deliverables
· Working with the team to synthesize the findings and develop/maintain a consistent Brightfield voice or perspective on where the data is going and what it means
· Work collaboratively with our product development leaders to identify opportunities for automation or improvements in efficiency for both syndicated and custom operations
· Respond to client queries and questions, support the development process
· Give presentations to clients or externally (events, webinars, etc.)
Requirements:
· 10 years+ experience working in market research, consulting environments - experience working with market sizing, consumer insights and brand health data preferred
· Experience managing a mid-sized to large team, preference if have scaled a team or worked in a high growth company before
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Excellent understanding of and comfort with tech related tools including accessing data lakes, using multiple sources of data, using data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI, etc.
· Great analytical abilities - able to find the story in a dataset and the implications for businesses in the space
