JOB SUMMARY:
Kinda Company is looking for an experienced Sales Specialist to join our team in Southern California. Our next Sales Specialist will eat, sleep and breathe cannabis brand sales. You will be challenged to be on the leading edge of the cannabis industry. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has proven track record of strong communication skills both over the phone and face to face with potential customers. Sales experience is also a major plus! Our Sales Specialist will have a high degree of freedom provided they deliver results that are on brand. We are looking for a self-motivated, data-driven individual who thrives in a team environment to help grow our customer base and grow brand equity in the cannabis marketplace. Base pay is between $600-$700 per week depending on experience with an incentivized commission structure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Make phone calls to potential clients throughout the U.S. selling our Hemp Products
- Visit Dispensaries throughout Southern California selling our Cannabis Products
- Attend trade Shows throughout the U.S. introducing our products to consumers and wholesale buyers.
- Spend time is Dispensaries educating potential consumers about our cannabis products.
- Stay in tune with emerging trends, products and sales techniques in the Cannabis Industry
- Perform all other duties assigned by the executive team.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively and actively seek and provide feedback.
- Interact with customers and potential customers in a variety of mediums.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strict attention to detail and data input accuracy.
- Ability to stay “on brand” at all times.
- Present weekly updates to the executive team on sales pipeline status.
- Maintain and build upon relationships with customers and potential customers.
- Effectively participate as part of the team, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in building plans and developing concepts to support brand goals.
- Prior experience driving results through effective sales techniques.
- Experience in the Cannabis Industry is a plus.
- Understanding of lead/demand generation, lead nurturing, lead management and CRM.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment and interact with colleagues throughout all levels of the organization.

- Occasional visits to remote work locations with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt.
- Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
