Bono Ape is looking to add a cultivator to our team. Experience not necessary. The correct candidate for this job is someone who is motivated, reliable, can follow directions, and is eager to learn. This is a fast paced and highly physical position. Our rooms are sealed for CO2 intake and kept hot and humid for the growth of our plants.
Duties include:
- Regular plant maintenance through de-leafing and super cropping techniques.
- Maintaining irrigation tanks and ensuring irrigation events.
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by Head of Cultivation.
- Ensure facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs.
- Regularly sanitizing tools, equipment, and production areas.
- Apply pesticides in a safe and effective manner, wearing appropriate PPE.
- Check and record accurate data daily, including but not limited to: pesticide applications, issues found when scouting plants, and any other items required by management.
- Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with regard to plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager leads and coordinates by being hands-on for all activities for facility maintenance. This includes machinery installation, performing preventative and predictive maintenance on the facility, machinery, and systems upkeep in addition to guiding engineering, new project build-outs, and construction activities. This role reports to the Director of Cultivation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general maintenance duties and minor repairs
Ensure facility remains operational and provides all upkeep, improvement, and repair plans
Assume responsibility for all coordinating and conducting facility maintenance, including budget and capital expenditure planning
Maintain, troubleshoot and service mechanical & industrial electrical equipment with plc and relay logic controllers
Prioritize, plan, schedule, and perform daily repairs on equipment, systems, machinery
Work with computer applications
Will maintain a list of vetted vendors and contractors for more advanced facilities upkeep
First point of contact for contractors and vendors requiring access to the building. Responsible for logging information and escorting.
Performing walks on the interior and exterior of the building to ensure there are no security risks or failing equipment.
Escort deliveries and assist with inventory control check in of invoice
Assist with packing and packaging of product
Ensure company grounds and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with company, security, and environmental procedures and regulations
Ensure the accuracy of required tracking and control reports
Greasing of cages, doors, locks, etc.
On site power tool maintenance.
Monthly and Quarterly checks for all site safety components (i.e. emergency exit lights, fire extinguishers…)

As a cultivation tech you will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking using METRC system/tags.
Duties include:
- Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors
- Managed/comply with supervisor/Head of Cultivation
- Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of.
- Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by Head of Cultivation.
- Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs.
