FutureSense is currently seeking an Account Executive of Sales and Business Development to join their fantastic team. This is not your ordinary contract position. As the Account Executive of Sales and Business Development, this position is responsible for fostering strategic relationships with new and current partners, clients, and constituents. This position will execute strategies that effectively engage with strategic partners, filling the relationship funnel from beginning to end to increase sales, communicate the FutureSense and its brands' value, and educate partners on FutureSense's products' value and services.

Job Duties
- Develop and manage relationships with clients and prospects through prospecting and networking to accomplish sales objectives
- Build, promote and manage a successful client, partner ecosystem
- Attend relevant industry, association, and partner events to foster awareness of the business
- Regularly review relevant industry information (online and print) and attend training (internal and external) in support of job responsibilities and personal development
- High volume prospecting activity supporting sales quotas and goals
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and other goals defined by the business
- Accurately forecast opportunities promptly
- Manage the full sales cycle and client satisfaction from initial lead to implementation
- Maintain positive client relations post-installation in support of future account growth
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Committed to organizing workload to exceed daily activity metrics effectively
- Complete weekly and other regular reports as required
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities required by the business and all brands
- Share market intelligence with broader FutureSense and its brands and team to inform product design and enhance marketing approach
- Based on client feedback and evolving market and competitor landscape, suggest product improvements and/or new products to our portfolio
- Create cross-functional leadership skills and a proven pedigree and command for collaborating with marketing and the leadership team to grow revenues measurably.
Performance Measurements
Success will be measured by key metrics:
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets backed by evidence of high client retention and growth
- Experience in human capital sales strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain senior-level client relationships
- Strong prospecting, planning, and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of the human capital ecosystem
- Proficiency with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Unquestionable integrity.
Qualifications
- 5 plus years sales experience selling professional solutions to industries such as cannabis, technology, healthcare, financial and manufacturing
- Success in selling to senior level prospect and client contact
- Strong work ethic
- Independent working and decisions making skills
- Working experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and marketing/sales toolsets
- Successful experience working in a team sales and support environment
- Ability to gain trust and respect of coworkers, customers, partners, and vendors
- Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth understanding of the sales process
- Humble team player with a strong work ethic, who can focus for long periods with minimal supervision
