The company is seeking a dedicated Team Member with a positive attitude, high ethics to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate! You will be responsible for accurate data entry, invoicing, file maintenance, and record keeping. The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for the reconciliation of customer accounts, and performs business to business collections. This position collects on receivable balances, reconciles customer accounts and maintains accurate records of such reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. As AR is not a full time role, you will also perform admin assistant duties and answer calls and route as needed. Responsibilities
- Perform day to day billing operations, including creating customer subscriptions and invoices timely and accurately. Ensure our billing system is up-to-date for billing and revenue reporting
- Enter a variety of data using current technology platforms with an emphasis on Excel and Infusionsoft (CRM software)
- Invoice over 250 accounts per month
- Perform a small amount of Accounts Payable duties
- Manage Purchase order process and occasional ordering of equipment
- Perform outbound calling in order to collect and reconcile account balances
- Perform business to business collections by collecting on receivable balances per payment terms
- Review accounts receivable aging and reconcile accounts
- Review weekly reports and address any issues as needed
- Work closely with Sales team to resolve customer disputes
- Identify customer deductions and short payments, and process or dispute as needed
- Validate and dispute or clear deductions/short payments related to fines by researching information provided
- Contact clients with past due invoices, exercising considerable judgment, professionalism and tact.
- Assist with audit requests, ad-hoc projects and system implementations
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Advise supervisor of issues related to data
- Maintain safeguards and confidential company information
- Perform admin assistant tasks as needed such as planning travel, events, and coordinating meetings

Qualifications

About Your Role:
BLAZE, a leading ERP provider for the cannabis industry, is seeking a qualified Compliance Development Technician to assist our compliance team to oversee compliance tasks in development.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Development Technician will be an integral part of the BLAZE team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, excel at prioritizing workloads, have solid attention to detail, with the ability to work well both as a team and independently.
Responsibilities will include the monitoring of compliance tasks development, authoring product spec documents to outline needed features to improve compliance, and preparing help-desk articles on compliance topics; requiring a detail-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative.
You will be responsible for:
- Tracking the development team’s progress on compliance tasks and helping communicate updates internally.
- Assisting with testing of new additions to the software, to assure our product is compliant and intuitive.
- Writing and updating instructional help-desk articles for clients to understand how to properly utilize BLAZE for optimal compliance.
- Monitoring industry news for regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in tracking State and Metrc compliance bulletins to make sure the team is aware of all upcoming changes in requirements that would relate to our software.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in creating and updating product spec documents for our development team.
- Prepare reports and SOPs for management as needed.
- Help the Compliance Manager as we expand into new, global markets!
About You:
You are someone with attention to detail and a drive to succeed. You are interested in developing a career in the cannabis industry and technology compliance. The Tier 1 Tech Support Agent is responsible for monitoring and responding to all support channels available to our customers. These include email, ticketing system, and phone support. The position will have a rotating schedule with weekend shifts being a part of the normal rotation. The product of this position is a customer that has successfully had their problem resolved and feels it was done so in a timely manner.
What you'll do:
- Work issues from the ticketing system (ZenDesk) in a triage manner, prioritizing according to urgency.
- Answer realtime requests via phone or chat, creating tickets in our ticket system.
- Escalate tickets to Tier 2 in a warm hand-off as needed.
- Learn our data migration process for new customers and perform data migrations as needed.
- Contribute to the BLAZE customer support knowledge base by authoring educational support articles.
- Work with the team lead for Appcues in order to identify areas of our applications that most need additional self help.
- Join the onboarding agents from time to time at customer launches in order to gain first hand knowledge of customer use of product.
- Educate customers on best practices specific to their business needs
- Be an active part of Continuous Process Improvement by speaking up when process breakdowns occur and propose possible solutions.
- Provide requirements to the development team based on customer feedback.
You should have:
- Proven track record of production
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years of experience in software technical support
- Ability to work from home with full efficacy
- Quiet place to work with a solid internet connection
- Excellent communication skills as a remote employee
- Solid experience in Office productivity suites such as MS Office or Google Docs. Specifically strong experience in spreadsheets.
