Non-Exempt: This position will be paid on an hourly basis for all hours worked, and is considered eligible for payment of overtime pay per applicable state law.

Objective / Purpose of the Position
The Fulfillment Department serves to:
- Provide excellent service and respond to all customer inquiries online, over the phone, and via email. Customers will only be passed on to a Dispatcher to schedule a delivery slot (they must have a placed order already).
- Pack all orders placed on the phone or via e-commerce. Dispensary Specialists will continue to gather items for orders placed at the walk-up window.
- Manage orders, including cancellation after the allotted pickup time has elapsed.

- Assists customers over the phone with questions, verifying documentation, and placing orders.
- Packs, processes, and manages all orders received via phone or e-commerce for pickup and delivery.

Dispensary Specialist

We provide quality-controlled cannabis to our customers in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.**As a Dispensary Specialist, you are responsible for delivering consistent, exceptional, high quality customer service to each and every customer. The Dispensary Specialist assists customers with selecting products, processes transactions efficiently and accurately, keeps the Dispensary adequately stocked to facilitate daily business, and maintains a sanitary environment for members and staff. The Dispensary Specialist reports to the Dispensary Manager.**For all of our staff positions, we are looking for individuals who can provide consistent, professional service, demonstrate respect and support for fellow staff members, and acquire expert knowledge about cannabis and its applications.**Must be 21 years of age to apply.**Key Responsibilities**
- Creates and maintains a welcoming atmosphere for all customers of BPG
- Greets all customers in a friendly, professional, and hospitable manner; complies with BPG’s dress code requirements
- Provides excellent customer service while performing duties
- Educates customers on facility use and BPG policies
- Cleans and organizes shelves and prepares product displays
- Stocks the dispensary throughout the day; verifies that products are correctly priced
- Interacts with members in a compassionate manner by carefully listening to their needs and suggesting products accordingly
- Maximizes sales by demonstrating excellent product knowledge, including proper use and dosage guidelines
- Uses POS system, ATM terminals, and Rewards card terminals to accurately and correctly record transactions
- Upon request, provides customers with information about laws and current events related to cannabis, as directed
- Communicates operational concerns promptly to Shift Leaders and our Dispensary Manager, to allow for maintaining the proper mix of available products, ensuring that digital menus are up to date, and that all members are able to receive service in a timely manner
- Executes opening and closing responsibilities
- Assists in maintaining facilities throughout the day
- Must be flexible and able to be scheduled as needed, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Other tasks as assigned by the Dispensary Manager
**Education and Experience**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of direct customer service experience in retail, healthcare, or healthcare related environments
**Required Knowledge,Skills and Abilities**
- Demonstrate ability to flexibly engage with a diverse customer base, using skills in active listening and verbal communication to identify and resolve customer service issues
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task with attention to detail and remain focused in a very busy, fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a balanced performance between periods of high and low activity
- Track record of punctuality and minimal absenteeism
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp operating policies and procedures, products, patient needs, and legal issues
- Knowledge of basic math calculations and weights and measures
- Knowledge of basic computer functions (PC Platform, POS system)
