Atlas Edibles is a cannabis manufacturer creating gourmet granola clusters and beverage mixes based in Berkeley, California. We are looking for an Account Manager in Southern California, covering accounts from Santa Barbara to San Diego.Account Manager (Southern California) Job DescriptionReports to Director or Sales
Responsibilities-
- Working with the distributors to increase Atlas’ business by growing the number of
‘doors’ carrying Atlas products and by increasing sales with existing retail accounts.
- Identify tiers of accounts and actively work to grow accounts in $ and sku count
- Act as point of contact for existing and potential accounts in region to ensure customer service and product knowledge is maintained at the highest level
- Complete on-boarding process for new accounts
- Visit accounts in the territory regularly. Checking pricing, merchandising and staff knowledge
- Present products and services ie-New products, trainings etc.
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions ie-merchandising, new products and communicate them to management team
- Present promotional calendar and build account specific promotions for sales lift
- Maintain CRM
- Manage Herbl sales team in the territory. Build positive working relationships with key
Herbl personnel to ensure Atlas gets more than its fair share of Herbl time and attention.
- Process direct account purchase orders and assist accounting department with collection when necessary
- Events (virtual & in person)
- Act as an extension of the Atlas brand and create excitement around Atlas
Qualifications-
- Ability to be out in the field 75% of the time
- Resilient attitude focused on problem solving, getting the job done
- Self motivated
- Excellent communication skills

- Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
- Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
- Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
- Other duties as requested
