Position Summary:
We are seeking outgoing and passionate Sales Associates who are looking for long-term employment in our Boston, MA medical & soon to be adult-use location. Our Sales Associates will assist the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Our Sales Associates are responsible for helping guests, checking them out, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting retail environment
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain product knowledge
- Greeting customers warmly when they enter
- Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients and guests
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
Competencies:
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Desire to learn about our products and cannabis
- Knowledge of basic computer skills; Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service or retail experience preferred
Other Misc. Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old
- Background check required; must be able to pass
- Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
- Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation
- Cannabis knowledge is preferred
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location assignments

About the Job:
The Post-Harvest Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales. The Post-Harvest Associate will also be responsible for equipment sanitation and sterilization as well as maintaining facilities cleanliness.
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials
- Adhere to the departmental, site and corporate safety policies.
- Assembles secondary packaging
- Follow Standard Operating procedures for debucking, trimming, grinding, drying, and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for oil extraction and/or flower sales
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Precise hand trimming will be required for flower sales
- Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning in a clean room manufacturing environment to maintain required standards.
- Responsible for organizing work areas and performing daily tasks such as washing and sanitizing equipment and racking systems.
- Responsible for weighing, filling, and packaging work related to flower products using aseptic technique so that no contamination is introduced into the process or material
- Sanitation and sterilization of post-harvest processing equipment such as stainless-steel racks and shelve
- Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to internal SOP and state regulation.
- Strong emphasis on documentation according to state regulations.
About You:
General
- Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience a plus
- Cannabis experience helpful
- Relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is desired.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic math skills

- Experience in medical cannabis industry or other alternative healthcare organizations is highly desirable
