BUDTENDER/GREETER
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Budtender/Greeter’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and facilitate sales transactions of the store and sustain a high level of customer service. The Budtender will provide superior service and guidance to customers. The Budtender will arrange and package customer orders, record sales in the POS system, and handle cash and cashless ATM transactions. The Budtender must maintain an organized environment and sustain a clean facility appearance. The Budtender embraces customer education, understands marketing and complies with all documented state laws, regulations and security procedures to safeguard staff and consumers. The role will collaborate with colleagues to provide feedback to leadership in determining high demand products to stock and effective pricing suggestions based on prevailing market conditions. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service and Facility Upkeep:
- Greet customers as they enter the dispensary. Provide orientations and tours for first time customers.
- Communicate with line coordinator to maintain customer traffic flow, minimize wait times, and maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to and resolve customer requests, complaints or compliments in person, through email and on the phone requesting supervisor support as needed.
- Maintain organization of dispensary room through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
- Maintain quality and appearance of product through removing shake and stems, while checking for defective mold, mildew, expiration dates or defective products.
Payment Processing:
- Package customer orders while ensuring proper weight, labeling, and discounts are applied.
- Process payment for all customer purchases and provide a receipt for each purchase.
- Record specific requests, preferences and notifications for customers using the POS system.
- Maintain organization of cashier counter through daily light cleaning.
Cannabis Education and Guidance:
- Maintain knowledge of all products and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws.
- Educate customers on options and methods, strain information, effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods.
- Provide educational materials and resources for customers as needed.
- Maintain awareness of customer input and suggest changes to improve service or product.
Documentation:
- Ensure accurate information is recorded for all customer registration, sales and preferences.
- Communicate inventory levels with Team Leads to maintain accurate menus and update menus as needed.
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Manager and Dispensary Manager as needed.
Safety and Security
- Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for fellow employees, products, and facility.
- Comply with all sales operational rules, policies and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Interface with Licensing and Compliance Representative as needed to support compliance with all appropriate retail sales policies, procedures, safety, rules and regulations.
- Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate and build positive relationships with our leadership team to effectively make recommendations, implement process improvements to drive positive sales revenues.

INVENTORY MANAGER (Cannabis Retail)

JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall inventory logistics to support the supply chain of all cannabis goods for Fyre Ants. This position will lead all inventory functions and be responsible for providing strategic input and hands-on management.
Key responsibilities include managing all tasks related to receiving, stocking, distributing and reporting recreational cannabis products. Report all
necessary inventory and product information in compliance with state laws and regulations. Control inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of
products. Comply with all documented security procedures to safeguard inventory. Source suppliers and manage vendor relationships. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory information. Manage seed to sale tracking. Manage product returns when applicable. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess and support inventory strategies.
- Manages cycle count programs through Inventory Specialists to maintain inventory balance in all Mellow Fellow departments.
- Provides daily inventory count audit reports to the Dispensary and weekly inventory audit reports to our leadership team. Provides end of
month and end of year inventory audits.
- Analyzes and monitors inventory adjustments and chain of custody of cannabis within our location.
- Effectively queries inventory and all order-related transaction history.
- Ensures proper classification and storage of inventory.
- Responsible for management and training of Assistant Inventory Managers and Fulfillment Specialists.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow. Remain current with industry best practices, trends and technologies.
- Improve the business processes for all key aspects of operations through analysis and collaboration with internal team members and
vendor partners.
- Oversee inventory budgets and fulfillment.
- Interface with Licensing and Compliance Representative as needed to support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures,
safety, rules, and regulations.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Point of Sale and state required reporting system METRC to monitor inventory
movement and support the company’s inventory management.
- Develop and report Key Performance Indicators including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, inventory reserve, months of supply and
consumer delivery performance.
- Maintain records and check accuracy of inventory cycle counts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies, informing management of
findings.
- Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate and build positive relationships with finance controller to effectively make recommendations, implement process
improvements, etc.
