Position Summary
Assist the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling and customer service
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for helping customers in the retail locations in accordance with Modern Medicine LLC mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
· Responsible for retail product knowledge so as to assist customers in making the right choices.
· Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as customer service,
· Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
· Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
· Correct cash handling and discount application
· Accurate and timely data entry of custom and patient profiles
· Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
· Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
· Security measures and safety compliance
· Store organization and cleanliness
· Managing the visitor log
· Verifying order deliveries for accuracy
· Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
· Report employee issues or customer situations
· Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations,
· Daily activities, maintenance, as well as patient information for any reported issues and/or customer complaints.
· Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following Modern Medicine LLC established policies for sales and customer service.

· Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
· Knowledge and consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
· Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Modern Medicine llc.
· Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
· Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, data base management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail. ·
· Ability to work effectively with employees, management, customers, other governmental agencies, community members and the general public. ·
· Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
Additional Requirements:
· Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
· Must pass any and all required background checks
· Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
· Must obtain and retain a state-issued MED support badge
Minimum Education and Experience: ·
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Previous customer service or retail experience preferred ·
· Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
Working Conditions: ·
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Job Title: Trimmer
Reports to: Harvesting Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for manicuring wet or dry flower from stalk and break down plants to process/trim them to meet its Clients’ quality standards. Also responsible for tracking the batches that they trim including the final finished product, the usable by-product amount (trim), and the un-usable by-product (waste) according to company policy and practices, as well as state, local and MED laws and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Breakdown flowers off off-stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking.
- Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
- Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
- Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
- Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
- Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by Urban Farmer Services and the state while processing marijuana.
- Trim staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.
Additional Functions:
- Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.
- Must work well with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.
- Use of independent judgment in regard to product processing, keeping quality, projections and goals in mind.
- Help create a proactive and positive environment; a positive attitude and self-motivation to help produce High quality manicured product, while meeting and/or exceeding personal and/or company goals.

- Trim staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the organization
- Trim staff must have a basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the MED; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
- Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing; initial focus on trimming with other areas being taught as the employee shows interest while still maintaining their capabilities as a trimmer.
- Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping chain of command.
